Big Fin Poké is a family owned local business began in Westbrook, Maine. in total, Our family has more than 30 years of kitchen and restaurant experience and an everlasting love for cooking and different cuisines. We found our love for poké through our Hawaiian friends from the islands, it was by all accounts the first poke restaurant in Maine. we are so excited to bring this new food trend to Maine. We opened our first store in 2016, right on Main St. in Westbrook. (soon Westbrook store were be moving to ROCK ROW Westbrook)

This place is great. I love the build your own bowl so you can get exactly what you want. It’s sort of like a subway restaurant in that you go down a line and you choose size, sauce, protein, mixins and toppings. Prices are fair in the food is fresh and delicious. Really interesting drink selection too.

If I can’t get poke from Foodland than this amazing spot will help me remember the glory that is so far away from Maine. Great service, a cool concept and top notch food. I really hope they open another location in say Augusta…I will them get a second job just to find my eating there for every meal. Now all Maine needs is an L&L and I can rest in peace…

Tasty fresh poke bowls! Customize your bowl with a wide variety of options. It has a Chipotle/Subway down the line layout. Not a cheap meal, but a flavorful, fresh healthy meal. Over the course of many visits to this location I have realized the employees convey a military operation focus to bowl making, nobody smiles or jokes. If you eat in, you will find the music playlist doesn’t fit the restaurant theme. I recommend their food to my friends.

Tried this place for the first time on the suggestion of a coworker. Overall I found it enjoyable and would go back. The portion sizes were reasonable for the prices though I could not discern a noticeable difference between regular and large. The fish was fresh tasting and the toppings added a good variety of textures to something has a big possibility to be a bowl of mush. The restaurant is counter service which helps cut down the cost a little and they do have beer. Parking is easy which is always a plus. The staff did not seem very engaging or that helpful for a first timer and it feels very much like a factory line once you order as your bowl is passed down. Like I said over all it was good and I would go back, but I’m not in any rush
