This entire place is a whole vibe and an entire mood. We were teleported into an undersea adventure and caught on a wave, sending us on a massive ship sailing across a menu of flavor. I tried a couple of entrees and they were good. The fried rice was probably the best I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor to it. The seafood ramen tasted more like a tum yum soup. I say try another different ramen. The place offered a variety of food such as sushi, dim sum, Thai, and Japanese. The price was around the range of $15 or more depending on what you got. For that cost, you got an updated atmosphere fused with Asian accents and food. Would I recommend the place? Yes, especially if you’re a foodie!

A 5-star experience in Asheville! I’m disappointed that Mr. Tea has been there for a year, and I had no clue. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve eaten there 4 times in the past 3 days. I’ve brought my daughter and my parents who all loved it. As a half-Asian woman from San Francisco, I’ve desperately missed the authentic flavors of China, and Mr.Tea serves THE BEST dim sum I’ve had since I was literally IN MAINLAND CHINA on a special student visa. That’s saying a lot for someone from the city with the 2nd largest Chinatown in the US.

This restaurant is probably fine if you are looking for average American-ese in a swanky-ish atmosphere in a mall. But, we were hoping for authentic dim sum. They do not offer this. The food was not great, but not terrible. There was no soap in either bathroom, which is a huge red flag at a restaurant.

Mr. Tea Asian Bistro is sure to hit a home run for you with anything you order. It delivers top tier quality food presented beautifully in a calming atmosphere with impeccable service. There are plentiful options that will delight your taste buds as you relax while blissful and serene images are projected on a huge screen. This restaurant is a gem and stands tall with its sister restaurant, Green Tea Sushi, by the same owner.

The waiter was great. And that’s the best thing I can say about this place. The food was unappetizing to look at, not to mention flavor was terrible. If you have texture issues with food, do not eat here. If you do not have a strong stomach or a strong: do not eat here. My friend is currently in the bathroom. We left there not even 10 minutes ago thankfully we live close by. We all have taken peppermint oil pills to help with the stomach cramps. It was an absolute terrible experience. We were charged for entrees when we only each took a bite or two out of it. If it was so bad that we couldn’t take more than two bites. Needless to say, after tip it was over $70 for food we didn’t even eat.

The food has always been enjoyable here. The bao and soup dumplings are fantastic. The roasted duck bao is one of our favorites. Don’t sleep on their hibachi or dishes like general tso. We’ve come here several times and will be back soon!
