Cute little place. I was really surprised by how fresh everything was. The Zucchini fries were so delicious, the side salad was crisp, the tri tip was excellent & I love the kick to the bbq sauce. Definitely will have to come again to try some other stuff.

Really great BBQ food! Lots of options. We had 10 people in our party, staff was friendly and accommodating. You can sit outside and enjoy river views. We had several items, but the pictures are the chicken sandwich and the brisket sandwich. The brisket sandwich was super. All of our party enjoyed their lunches. Close to other shops, definitely stay and walk around a bit.

This is the kind of place that makes me doubt the reliability of restaurant reviews. This is a 4+ stars review place, really? The food was just bad, even by lowly Truckee standards, the people there were nice but overall the service really spotty. We showed up at 8:45pm on a Saturday and we were treated like we were given a huge favor for being served food… and yet that place claims to close at 9:30pm! The restaurant was mostly empty and yet we were parked to eat by the kitchen to a cacophony between speakers in the kitchen and the dinning room, the seats were incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. That would all have been ok is the food was decent, but it wasn’t. They can’t even make a decent salad or a bbq sandwich… May be we got there at a bad time but man that was awful.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat. They have indoor and outdoor seating, their customer service was great although I feel like they might be short staffed. We ordered the southwest wrap with onion rings (they gave me 3 onion rings) and burger with fries and they it was so good and filling, would def come back!

Definitely sit outside when you dine here – the inside leaves a lot to be desired, but the outside is lovely. Staffing seems to be a bit short as it is almost everywhere these days – but after ordering, the food comes quickly and it’s very good! Portions are also extremely generous.

The most gorgeous of ambiance, dining and having drinks by the river. We got the BBQ sampler plate for about $40, drinks $9-$15, are strong drinks, btw. We got front row seats to the beautiful truckee river. It took a long time for food to get to us but I didn’t mind, service was good, and also it was a bustling atmosphere with everyone there chatting and the string lights. Gorgeous way to feel sunset in truckee.
