This was my first time to visit El Bracero while passing thru Amarillo. First of all, their salsa is AMAZING! I could almost have made a meal of the chips and salsa. I ordered the lamb street tacos which were some of the best I’ve ever had. I will try their lamb chops next visit. Our server was excellent. Highly recommended!

El Bracero has been a semi-regular spot for me the last three years. I usually get something different each visit, typically a grilled dish, and I’m always satisfied. My most recent visit was January 25, 2023, for takeout. I had the Lomo Saltado and my partner got the Acapulco. Both dishes had excellent flavor and were well made. The beef tenderloin was so soft and flavorful that I’m already thinking of ordering the Lomo Saltado again. Their tortillas are super good, too. Not sure if they make them or have a good supplier, but the tortilla really tied the beef and onions together. Prices are really fair for what you get and they gave complimentary chips and salsa on the to-go order.

BEST burrito I’ve ever had! We got the smothered burrito and it was seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans were also ! Highly recommend and hope to come back for more. Service was also good.

So good. Literally where do I start? Nothing I’ve ordered here has been bad. Always delicious. Could the place use a update and better ambience? Sure but the food is the bacon here. There are obvious fake reviews saying it’s bad but then they put the name of said competing Mexican restaurant they went to instead. Very suspect. Maybe their competitors wrote that review. Wake up people lol.
