I love supporting local business but I’m very disappointed with this order. There was way too much oil in the chow mein with beef. It was so hot when the chef put the food in the styrofoam container that it melted the styrofoam container. Further more getting into my food. I guess I would tell them ahead of time to use 1/10 or 1/20 the amount of oil.

We were in Tucson during the Christmas break. Most of the local restaurants were closed except some Chinese ones. We didn’t want to spend two hours on the waiting list for Jun’s and luckily we found this little hidden gem. The food was so authentic and delicious! Especially the grilled fish and grilled scallops with rice noodle! But the best is beef chow fun which just made me remember the same taste I had in Guangzhou China!

I dont know why i keep trying different Chinese restaurant in Tucson when i have already found the good ones. This is far from it. I want to know why $20 a la carte dish doesn’t get me enough chicken meat for one mouthful but i do get enough chicken bones. I feel like they took a chicken thigh and chopped it up into half inch pieces, but if they did with an actual chicken thigh i would have gotten more meat. 80% of the dish was chopped green chilis with all the seeds still in them and they were hard as bullets. Completely inedible a complete culinary rip off.

Small, cafeteria style place, staff were nice people, but the food was not at all what we were used to Chinese food to be. So perhaps their food is real Chinese food because it was pretty busy and mostly Asian people eating with appetite. Perhaps the food we eat at all other Chinese restaurants is made to “American or Non-Chinese” persons pallet because we wouldnt be able to handle real Chinese food….? I don’t know… but the food was sort of plain and so much fat, too much fat to meat ratio. Too much rice to other sides ratio. There was 3 of us and we didn’t even eat half of our plates. And we usually finish our meals. So if you have been to China, maybe that food tastes like in China, and maybe it’s nostalgic for Chinese natives, but each one of us, in our group of 3 is from another country so each one of us did not enjoy the food, 🙁 , but the people was nice, small, clean and the bathroom was clean.

This place is probably one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Tucson. They feed a lot of Chinese students because they’re right across from the university.

I like this place pretty much. It’s a good place to try real Chinese taste. The price is reasonable. I always have hot pot there, it’s $17 but good for two meals to me. I like the pork ribs soup as well.

The Kung Pao chicken and the shredded pork with peppers were amazing. These aren’t the Panda Express style deep fried chicken, but that is a very good thing. They are serving flavors that you’re almost familiar with, but that are still unique and exciting.
