Kung Pao Tofu was literally astonishing, probably best I’ve ever had. It’s way better than it looks in the menu photo. Complex, a bit sweet, and just spicy enough to challenge me. Spinach buns and cucumber salad were also big winners.

Corvallis is really the strangest place when it comes to peoples tastes in food. I would rate this as moderately poor tasting. Food is pretty, and has nice spices in it, but has odd overtones. I don’t know if there are additives or preservatives in the staple foods in their supply chain. Perhaps they are pulling ingredients from the store shelves – which may be highly processed or not fresh? The meals here were a complete mismatch to my taste in food. I travel a bit and generally enjoy what I’m eating, experiencing food during travels to other parts of the world, and locally in Oregon. Overall, it seems most people like it here, so this is just me…. On a good note, people are nice and there’s a broad selection of dishes. And it looks pretty.

Delicious! Went two days in a row because it was just THAT good! Found it yesterday and that’s all I wanted again today. Highly recommend the soup dumplings and pork/bamboo shoot steam buns but literally everything I’ve tried is perfectly seasoned, tasty, and just mind-blowingly phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back!

Got an order (roast pork rice bowl) to go. Said it would be 15 minutes, more like 30, but worth waiting for. Authentic? Probably, as much as I know, but LOTS of Asian folks waiting to sit down and eat. To me, that’s a good sign.

I had dine in and ordered for a delivery several times, I can say that the food is good. But the recent delivery I ate had a piece of plastic in MALATANG. I was pretty surprised about it and wondering the hygiene inside the kitchen.

Love this not well known shack tucked away at the back of the market. In another town, I might lower the rating, but in Corvallis where Asian cuisine is lacking, it is indeed a 5 star place. They do use a bit too much ginger.
