We were visiting Byesville last Friday and came across the delightful Marlenes Restaurant. So friendly and the food was great. Just had to tip my hat to the gang there. Having left in 1961 we were reminiscing about that location of Bachman’s Bakery and the waitress brought us a wonderful picture of the bakery from that era. Sweet!

The fries I got were undercooked and soggy. Might as well been a diaper with how much those potatoes absorb from the grease. The breakfast is good, but nothing I couldn’t make at home. Could also use a drink machine instead of handing out cans.
