Served cafeteria style, the food was hot and full of flavor. The server was very friendly and made our first time visit a breeze. As a Latina, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re missing home cooking. The pernil was slightly dry but we did get the last of it. The chicken stew was amazing and so tender. Black beans-delicious! Definitely recommend and will be back. Now if I could just find a place that makes pernil sandwiches…

My boyfriend and I had lunch here today. It was amazing. I had beef stew which was full of flavor and tender. My boyfriend had oxtail that were meaty and very succulate. The portions were good. It is served cafeteria style so you get to see the food you want. I will be returning….real soon.

Only come here if you’re hungry!!! The food is incredible!!! Portions are HUGE. I couldn’t believe how much I got to take home and have again and again. This place is incredible and I’m so glad we came here. Highly recommended!!!

This place is great! The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. They bring out different dishes throughout the day. I had Ox tail. I haven’t had that in years! Very tender and flavorful. The black beans and rice with peas were delicious. Plates are $14.99 or $19.99. There is a full bar.

Okay, I travel alot. And eat out often at some nice places. If your in the N. Charleston, SC area, you gotta try this place! I do have to say, I was very pleased. Great food, great atmosphere, nice and clean! And great friendly staff! I had one of my favorite Puerto Rican dishes. “Arroz Blanco Con Bacalao” very friendly staff. After the owners Sister served me, she asked me “take a good look at that plate, what’s missing” I came back with “uno Madurito Al Lao” she no, mejor “Un Pelaso de Aguacate” and just like that, boom! She puts it on my plate! That’s what I’m talking bout! You gotta check this place out. It’s worth it for sure. Gracia mamita por quidarme bien <3❤️

Not sure how this place is still in business. Tried twice and was let down both times. Expensive. No lunch special. Everything has the same taste. Small portion of meat with a mountain of rice. Was told my order was 14.99 and my check came to $23 smh

Friendly staff. Very nice spacious restaurant and bar. Latin Caribbean music and food. The food was delicious but some things were luke warm. I guess because I arrived after lunch was completely over and they had the food in a ‘buffet style’ but served by a server. They had a sign at the door that says wait to be seated yet I had to sit myself. It seems like a nice late night spot.
