I came in to TaterQue based the recommendations on Google maps. The picture you see of the food that I ordered was not actually what I ordered. They ran out of brisket. Which tells me that the brisket is pretty good. I can’t give you an exact review on the brisket today. Maybe next time when I come in I can actually get some brisket. But as we all know here in the lovely shaded Texas brisket is first come first serve I was little late to the party! I blame Kid-N-Play needless to say I’d come back in try some different items next time. If you’re in the area and you don’t know where to go or some thing that’s a little different but still the same. I suggest you stop on in and get yourself something to eat from these guys. I appreciate y’all making some wonderful food. I look forward to seeing y’all again.

A relaxed, counter service resturant serving up massive baked potatoes loaded with BBQ. They have good appetizers as well. We tried the crispy mac and cheese app and the taterkegs. Both were good. We liked the toppings on the taterkegs as a nice touch. We also tried the Lakeside nachos. They were good and surprisingly light for a dish that uses Alfredo sauce instead of nacho cheese. The mix of crayfish and shrimp on top was great. All that said nothing held a candle to the main attraction: the mega sized big jack. The mega size was big enough to share and topped with good sausage, chopped brisket, and tasty ribs. As a good Texan I usually skip the BBQ sauce to focus on the flavor of the meat but don’t do that here. Their hot BBQ sauce was delicious. It had a good balance of spice and vinegar. It was not sweet or overpowering like you get with other BBQ sauces. The staff was attentive and kind. We went during the off peak hours and saw them cleaning. They were also happy to help us with dipping sauces and a to-go box for what was left of our massive mega big jack. In the sprint of constructive criticism if I could add anything to the resturant I wish there was iced tea served here (the brisk raspberry stuff from the fountain doesn’t count).

Yes, they are now in a building! Yes, their food is amazing! The hype I saw on Facebook is real! The atmosphere has a great vibe! Great music from different genres playing. They have arcade games for the kids to play on. TVs all around to watch sports!

I ordered the lemon pepper wings with fries and those wings were finger licking good!! Fried perfectly, not greasy and not too much batter. The flavor was on point. It took about 15 minutes for the wings, but I’m okay with getting fresh food. Service was awesome too. Greater with a warm smile and was checked on several times while eating. Nice spot to watch a game or two.

Fries were great. Wings were a bit too much batter for my liking and tasted slightly like fish (I’m assuming they use the same oil for wings and fish). The restaurant had no AC and high powered fans were blowing on my food and napkins the entire meal.

Food was amazing! We got the two-3 with ribs and Mac n cheese, my daughter wouldn’t share so I’m thinking it was just that good. I got the Springdale which had the seafood and Alfredo, very good! Also had a vegetarian/vegan option with a tasty sauce. Overall I would definitely be back to try more food! Atmosphere was great felt comfortable and friendly. Customers were laughing and enjoying themselves. Kid friendly and has out door seating

I will definitely be returning to try the Sunday Funday. I had the Springdale potato and the tater kegs. Both were really good and seasoned. Don’t expect fancy but definitely good food. We sat on the patio because it was very cold inside. They had good music playing over the speakers. There’s limited parking in the front but plenty behind the building.

Best potatoes we’ve ever had. We had the Big Jack and Springdale, both incredibly tasty. The meats on top of the Big Jack were tender and flavorful. The Alfredo sauce and seafood on the Springdale were so good that I will likely order that again next time we go! Karaoke night so the music was pretty loud, but sitting outside helped.
