Stumbled upon this little place after leaving strawberry hill. Don’t let the size or location fool you it is fantastic! Ordered the 8” burrito mix steak & chicken and would recommend to anyone! Good job to the chef!! 10/10 would eat here again.

This is my fifth time here, three were takeout, and two were dine in, and I’ve had a great experience every time. The food is absolutely delicious, portion sizes are huge, pricing is pretty comparable to other places, and wonderful service. My only critique would be to scale back the salt content in the salsa. We are so glad to have this place close. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to try breakfast.

I got the mexican burger and it did not disappoint. Excellent favor and just the right amount of heat from the jalepano. The salsa bar is the best I have every had and I eat at alot of Mexican restaurants. The mild was even very tasty with fresh ingredients and low spice. I like mine spicy so I mixed it with the hot. Yum! The only negative was that there wasn’t a Dos Equis to wash it all down with and if there had been the rating would have been a 5. Definitely going to order from here again..

Well, El Chingon is a small restaurant at a country gas station that wouldn’t be hard to miss. My first time there I went in super skeptical, but trying them out was a nice experience. While it’s eat-in area is super small and plain, leaving a bit to be desired, don’t let the looks fool you about the food quality. The folks who own and run this establishment are super nice, and the service was good and quick. I ordered a beef burrito, and was shocked at the size of it. This one wasn’t even the largest on their menu. It tasted great, and at super reasonable price. I will most assuredly be going back to try out more of their dishes.

Biggest burrito I’ve ever seen and it was oh so good!! I added guacamole to it and it was delicious! Had plenty left over for supper. I have never had a bad experience.

We’re recovering from surgery and mobility is a problem. We’d never eaten here before but ordered through DoorDash based on reviews. We were NOT disappointed! The food was delicious! And portion size was out of this world. You get your money’s worth. Will definitely order again and when we are more mobile will be visiting in person. Thank you for a delicious meal!
