This place is a destination. Drove 45 minutes on a recommendation and now will forever be a regular! Food is outstanding, service is like eating with friends and did I mention the GRILLED BISCUIT….better than devil’s food cake. The owner has a passion for people and good food and that is worth 6 stars if I were able to give it.

An all around great dining experience. The customer service was excellent, very kind and friendly. Made me feel good about spending my money with this small business, you can tell they take care and pride. They greeted every customer like family coming through the door and knew many usuals orders. The meal portions were huge and delicious! I’m not from the south so I don’t claim to be a biscuit expert, but it was the first one I’ve ever eaten plain because it was THAT good; soft, moist, buttery, flavorful w a slightly crusty top, wow! Usually I try to drown them in jelly, honey or gravy, not necessary here! The sausage gravy was great, not too sagey and the western omelette had a little something magic that I couldn’t put my finger on, but it was fantastic! You can tell they cook (not basket fry) the bacon because you could actually taste it! I can’t wait to come again! We asked for two things special and they said nothing but “of course you can!” Great service!

The food and service were both outstanding. It’s a very casual atmosphere, which I really like. It reminds me of when I was growing up way back when lol. But the people are very friendly even the customers and we really enjoyed our breakfast.

Came to dmv from Goldsboro found this place and it was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST breakfast ! Food was EXCELLENT! Server was SUPER friendly! Loved her UNC Tarheel shirt! Portions were big and prices were good! Will definitely be back!
