There are no televisions; the table is yours, seated only once per evening and can not accommodate children. The space is small with socially distanced tables. It is the first and only NO-TIPPING fine dining restaurant in Dallas.
It is located in north Dallas in Addison near the Tollway and Belt Line Rd.
In July 2018 Canary By Gorji shortened its name to Gorji bringing the brand together under one name—Gorji Restaurant, Gourmet Foods and Cookbooks.

This was our first time here and definitely will not be the last. It is such a wonderful, intimate atmosphere with out of this world food. Often you go to a new restaurant and there is something you don’t care for, but not here. Everything was extraordinary! It makes for an awesome date night/special occasion or just some quiet dinner time place. Can’t recommend it enough!

BEWARE OF SCAM: The reality of this restaurant is that the food is microwaved, or at least ours was. We paid over $250 for this meal (for two people) and the food tasted like cardboard and my lasagna was still frozen on the inside. You could see evident water marks coming from the side of the plate that showed it was only microwaved – what a disappointment.

This restaurant has been on my list of places to try for some time. On the website, I saw that I could order take out for some days in which the restaurant is not open. I called, and Chef Gorji walked me through my preferences. I had a scrumptious catfish appetizer, a savory pear salad, beef tenderloin and cheese dessert. The food tasted so great even after transporting it home, I decided to make reservations for my anniversary. Fortunately, there is reserved parking because it is difficult to find any parking at all. The atmosphere inside helped facilitate a romantic dinner with soft music and very attentive service from the waiter and Chef Gorji himself. I tried the lasagna appetizer, which was spiced very nicely. The cucumber and tomato salad was so fresh, you’d think the vegetables were picked that day. The pork chop was juicy and flavorful. The food and service were flawless, and I definitely recommend it.

Favorite place in all of DFW. Chef Gorji’s passion for and mastery of both Old and New World cuisines far surpasses that of every other ‘Mediterranean,” “fusion” or “steakhouse” restaurant in DFW, as evidenced by the menu, wine selection, customer care, and assiduous attention to detail. The sea bass in sour orange and chablis is a treasure, an oceanic world unto itself! But you cam also come JUST FOR THE STEAK. Exquisite char, overflowing jus, complex flavor, and silky mouth-feel from perfect tenderness (yes, on the steak). The immaculate wine list is poetry; Chef Gorji writes the tasting notes himself, and each pairing creates synergy within the course. Finally, vanilla ice cream has never tasted like this: with toasted pistachios and sesame seeds, even ROSE PETALS, heaped like Byzantine confetti, plus pomegranate glaze or a sweet dessert wine. My husband and I had the extremely good fortune to attend a birthday dinner for my best friend on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Gorji’s is a LOVELY restaurant! It is small, intimate, quiet and has a relaxing modern décor. Even though it is small, the plate glass windows give a wonderful illusion of space. The plants outside make a nice screen and let you feel like you are in a garden area. It is extremely clean as well!
