I’m a regular at the Rammy’s at the Elk Grove location, but today I was in the Wheeling area stopped this location unfortunately it was a disappointment. Ordered a Radical beef, M&M cookie and Jalapeño chips. I showed up 2hrs before closing and was skimped on the meat plus the additional ingredients that come on the radical beef like tomatoes, onions, cheese. For 14 dollar sandwich I expected the quality the Elk Grove location gives. 14 dollars on a sub, that I could have paid 7 at subway.

Been coming here for over a decade and it’s probably my local sub shop. No one does it like Rammy’s their food always feels fresh. The employees and owner are beyond friendly and accommodating. My go to sandwich used to be the seafood sub and when they ran out, they suggested a new one and gave me a complimentary brownie and the best way to eat it (microwave with ice cream. Ala mode!)

This place is a hidden gem. From the irresistible desserts to the amazing sandwiches, they are a sight for a hungry stomach. I just had a Reuben on marble rye there today along with a brownie with a crunchy crust swirled with caramel. So delicious. The Reuben was spilling over with delicious toppings. Fun ambiance too. The workers seem truly happy to be there and strike up conversations all the time.

I live about a mile from here. When I used to pas by it I literally thought it was a construction business. To my surprise it was actually a true sub shop! I went by today and arrived to the most amazing atmosphere! The team behind the counter seemed to be so passionate about being there and had so many recommendations (great work team environment). After looking at the menu I told them I was stuck between the tuna sub or the 7 layer chicken pita.

I grew up going to this place and went back for the first time in years and I’m honestly disappointed ☹️ the staff was very nice but the quantity and quality has changed especially for the expense. $40 for 2 small drinks, 2 regular subs, and 2 potato salads in a small container.. kinda crazy. The sandwiches aren’t loaded like they used to be. There was barely anything on there just mostly bread that also wasn’t as toasted as it used to be. May give it a try when economy is cheaper other than that it’s a no go from now on sadly

The place is really dirty, it needs to get cleaned. There’s lights on the ceiling that looks like it’s accumulated dust for a long time. Service and food is great though

The most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had especially the pulled pork!!! I’ve been buying all my sandwiches there for the last 5 years. Always friendly service, with a smile! Thier quality of luncheon meats can’t be beat! I highly recommend this family owned business. They deserve more than 5 stars!!
