There was a bit of a wait but we were very happy with the brush here. Not necessarily anything super unique but just really well executed brunch dishes.

First of all the restaurant itself has a huge table setting, the kitchen is all the way at the end, so the servers have to walk back and forth many times and I think it very annoying to have people keep passing by, very uncomfortable and pleasant as a 5 stars hotel’s restaurant.

So we stayed at the hotel and expected food to come at a premium cost. The atmosphere and the staff is definitely the best you could ask for. As several other reviews have mentioned, it is quite a pricy restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, the meals are excellent and everything is cooked perfectly. But it’s still hard to justify some of the cost. Breakfast was a bit more reasonable than their dinner menu. Cocktails prices were the biggest surprise. Again, they do them extremely well but your cheapest option is 24 dollars. If you do decide to splurge for a drink I would recommend the mezcal old fashion.

We are guests at the hotel and it was very convenient to access the restaurant. All in all a good meal with nothing wrong. For the high price though, I expected more thought put into the flavor of the food and some generosity. We ordered a steak and a pork chop, which did not come with anything on the side (sides are $18 or so). Both tasted rather bland. We also had to pay extra to get some sauce on the meat. For a $130 per person meal, I did not expect to have to pay extra for a side of vegetables or have to save every drop of the sauce.

We enjoyed breakfast. The fries at the bar were just okay, not crispy, and the prices are very high. We didn’t try dinner. We only ate at the restaurant since we had a 25 dollar stipend per person with our diamond status. You can make it around 25 per person for breakfast. Eggs with a meat choice and toast were $25. French toast was $20. Service was great and the atmosphere is lovely but I have a hard time justifying a 26 dollar hotdog. Our hotel experience overall was 5 stars and we will absolutely stay again but I’d skip the restaurant unless you have money to burn.
