If I could give no stars I would, staff was friendly but dear god the food is atrocious. I took one bite of the beef taquitos which were extremely bland and seemed to just be a weird meat paste on the inside, beans were just boiled in water and thrown onto the plate and the rice seemed like it was from yesterday just a mushy scoop that retained the shape of the actual trigger scoop they use. Loaded fries were meh thankfully we added the sauces from Cacho’s on it to save it but seriously for $35 I should have just binged at Taco Bell.

The folks working here are very kind and nice. They’d deserve 5 star for the service. The food though, which is what I’m reviewing here. It is the most blend, flavorless good I’ve ever had. The bean tastes like plastic, the chicken in my burrito was probably boiled in water with salt and that’s it. No flavor, whatsoever. They didn’t even got the chips and salsa right. The salsa tastes like a very weak watermelon juice. No wonder why everywhere else was packed and they were empty.

Was completely ignored when I sat down to make an order. There was nobody in line. 11:48 am 6-15-2023. Read the reviews on the service. It says enough by itself. I’m surprised this place makes any money the way I see people get ignored instead of welcomed. What a shame. I do NOT recommend this place due to experience. There are plenty of other places with kindlier service throughout Sawmill. You will see this specific restaurant close sooner than the others.

The man working there was extremely rude. We did arrive 20 minutes before close, but there’s a way to approach your customers in more respectful way. If he would have said “listen guys, we started closing up early, but there’s still a couple of items I can make for you…” However, he basically yelled that he had two items available and “that’s it!”(twice), with his hand motion. He proceeded to tell his coworker “people do this every time we’re about to close!” I worked in fast food as a manager for 8 years. I know it’s not fun, and it’s not ideal for customers to show up right before close, but you deal with it professionally! We closed at 2, whereas, this place closes at 10! I would take an order until 5 mins after closing time. I was there either way! I can’t comment on the food because we didn’t get any. We ended up ordering UberEats.

Most placed disappoint with red. As someone from NM who loves red chile I am beyond happy with my choice. Great food. Nice service. Would try more menu items next time for sure.
