Best sushi in CT! We had the sashimi platter and it was a beautiful variety of fresh and delicious fish. The cocktails were unique and tasty. The atmosphere at Nori was really nice, and we sat in a comfy booth. Everyone working there was super friendly and we ended up having a great night out! Will definitely be back!!

This place is incredible . Everything we ate was on point. Staff was super friendly, inviting, and willing to explain everything. We will definitely be back many many times. If you’re questioning if you should make the trip, rest assured you wont be disappointed .

I will start the review by saying that prior to going in on opening weekend I almost cancelled our reservations after seeing the pictures of the menu that someone posted (they had just opened and their website didn’t have a menu yet). The prices were eye popping. But my wife and I decided to go on with our plans.

Great lunch here today at this contemporary Japanese restaurant in downtown Old Saybrook. We tried the lobster tail with shrimp and vegetables and a fire roll. Both were delicious, very fresh and beautifully displayed on our plates. This restaurant has a very peaceful, relaxing vibe. Looking forward to coming back again.

The cocktails are delicious (i recommend the indigo lady), the food is amazing. There’s a great level of attention given to even the smallest details. The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh, and there’s not many places nearby where you can get fresh shrimp sashimi like this. The wagyu popsicles have a unique authentic flavor and are worth the hype. The waitstaff were very friendly and the overall experience was great, I hope to visit often! If you’re on the fence about going, Nori is definitely worth a visit!

Nori was an exciting edition to the Old Saybrook town’s restaurant list. The environment is unbeatable. The only way I can explain it would be a relaxed fine dining. When first walking in I was greeted by a kind host, named Uni, at the front. The entrance is separate from the rest of the dining room, and the dining room is separated further depending on the experience you would like to have. I chose the sushi bar, but there is a more casual table top and a more private area with booths. The sushi bar was exciting as they make the sushi in front of you. I ordered the mock tail mojito, since I was driving afterwards, pork gyoza and the rainbow roll. All pictures will be included below

This might be the best shoreline sushi from Mystic to New Haven but I’ll need to try it a few more times to be sure. Great space, great food, and great service.

The waitress was good. Food was not up to par for the price. Sushi was not much better than ones sold in grocery stores. Entree was best described as bland. A $32 plate should at least be seasoned. Disappointing and will not return or recommend
