This is what you get for $27! And if you don’t eat in the restaurant, you apparently don’t get tofu. Which is not explained anywhere on any menu- Uber or from the restaurants own website. When I called to inform them that I’m missing items, he was rude and told me that he could fry me up tofu but he didn’t think I wanted to drive and get it. Never again will I done in or order for delivery.

This place is one of my family’s FAVORITE restaurants. The food is incredibly fresh, tastefully prepared and portions are plentiful. Dave is phenomenal and always friendly and chatty. Yes, prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for! I highly recommend Nakama – you won’t be disappointed!!!

My family and I dined at Nakama a night ago (Friday). We had a very enjoyable evening. My son wanted to try hibachi and I was excited that he had a dining suggestion. The chef was fantastic and engaging. Kept talking to him while he was cooking our food. The meal was wonderful. I enjoyed everything, except the salad dressing but really that was it. A great meal with wonderful staff.

We went with family while visiting Pittsburgh. My kids had a long day of travel and our hibachi chef was amazing. He kept them entertained and even gave my son some of the plain eggs for the fried rice because at that point of the day, that was what he wanted. Thank you for a wonderful and delicious dinner!! I would definitely recommend.

I ate lunch at the Japanese steakhouse Nakama. The restaurant was clean and had adequate space for customers. Our waitress was very nice and soon brought out our food. Our salad, soup, sushi, and hibachi meals were fresh and tasty.

This place is all about sushi rolls and hibachi grill. The rolls were covered in sauce and had a modern feel with many strong flavors. The appetizers such as the seared New York strip steak and sashimi were good.

My family and I come to Nakama every year and are never disappointed!! We had great service and our chef Collin was so much fun!!! Having a great chef makes all the difference!! Plus he cooked our food perfectly and entertained us the whole time!!! Thanks for another great meal!!!

The food and service was not great. The manager had said that it was open seating which was fine so I sat near the front of the restaurant. I waited about 20 minutes before I walked up to the sushi bar to order The Blue Crab roll and Tropical Rainbow. The waitress came shortly after to apologize for not seeing me, at the time there were only two other people in the restaurant and they were sitting at the bar. I had already gotten up to get a drink from her at the bar and I told her I had already ordered. The manager came to bring my food to which I was confused to see 3 rolls. I thought maybe they were being nice for the lack of service. I only ended up eating 2 of them, they tasted ok, but the fish on both rolls were warm. When the lady at the bar brought me the check they charged me for 3, I told her I only wanted one of each, and she removed it from the check. I guess moral of the story is, if you want good service here don’t sit near the door or on the patio.

In a time when so many places that you’ve always gone to their quality has slipped, Nakama has not. It is still consistently good. The staff really nice and really professional. It is really worth going to. Will be back soon.
