Food and service is exquisite! I’ve eaten here twice now. With all of the amazing food options around Western NC it can be challenging to find a place that shines bright above the other options. These dishes are among some of the best I’ve had and I wouldn’t hesitate to say this might be the best of WNC! The house-made pasta is spectacular. The sauces and proteins/veggies on both dishes were prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the Lamb Meatball Marsala and my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan. 5 star experience and well deserved! Excited to go back and won’t hesitate to send others to indulge in this wonderful and intimate dining experience.

Had a friend invite me to meet for dinner here last week. He made us reservations, yet when we arrived they didn’t have us down in their reservation book. Regardless, they got us seated with no wait. I ordered a glass of Godiva chocolate liquor. It came out in a tiny glass with 90% ice cubes. Literally 2 sips for $12 for dessert wine I can buy at any ABC store. I ordered the deconstructed lasagna. The menu does not specify it’s served in a cheese sauce, so I expected the typical marina/red sauce. What arrived to my table was more like a steak burrito, NOTHING about lasagna at all. It was 2 pieces of steak wrapped in a tortilla & loaded with cheese sauce which had an awful, gross PUNGENT smell. Way too strong for my taste. The stench of the strong cheese was too overwhelming. I mentioned that it didn’t meet my expectations. Our waitress brought me out a small serving of plain noodles in some red pepper sauce instead, no meat. I appreciate the attempt to replace the burrito mess, but it wasn’t any better taste wise & I wasted $45 on a plate that was poorly described on the menu. This place attempts to be upscale and fancy but it’s definitely not worth their inflated prices. I don’t get the hype and will not be going back.

Amazing food …goat cheese risotto balls, shrimp n grits, Trout, deconstructed lasagna, and cheeseburger pasta dish. Neville was an excellent waiter. He was a key ingredient in making this a great family experience.

This is a wonderful fine dining restaurant with incredible varied and well prepared food, excellent ambiance and surprisingly reasonable prices considering the overall experience. The service was impeccable. Superior wine and bourbon, whiskey and scotch choices. We will dine at The Chef’s Table every time we are in Waynesville, NC. Ours was a very memorable experience!

This is the best food I have ever had! The deconstructed lasagna was the best meal of my life and my husband’s eggplant parm was amazing as well. We heard about this place from a friend who knew we were foodies and she said it was a must… and now we have been twice. And it’s at least 5 hours away from us but when we go to Asheville it’s a MUST to go to!
