Is it as great as the one in New Haven? No. But that’s a tough standard to live up to. The pizza is still excellent, best I’ve had in the area. The crust is a bit thicker than in CT, more NY is style. But it holds the DELICIOUS toppings very well. Didn’t get the clam pie because of the mixed reviews. The desserts were both very good. We went 3 PM on Friday to avoid the rush.

Tried Frank Pepe’s tonight and it was fantastic! The pizza is thin and crispy New Haven style. Limited menu of salads and pizza options. Made a reservation and we were seated immediately. Service and food were excellent! The house salad was great. We ordered the original tomato pie with extra sauce and it was perfectly charred . We have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Will definitely come back.

Tried them out opening day! Staff was very nice. Great atmosphere. Pizza was better than Plantation location but not as good as the original New Haven spot. Overall happy that Pepe is expanding in South Florida.

Stoked that this ended up being my 200th pizza review on Google Maps! We went to the OG a couple times and this one has its own twist. It comes well done, so prepare yourself to accept that the edges will be burnt – they’re supposed to be. It needed a little salt, and the sauce and cheese didn’t go all the way to the edge of the crust like the original, but I’m stoked to have a quality pie close by. Will be going back soon.

New Haven comes to Palm Beach County! This is a place my wife loved when she lived up north. Me, I am a true New York pizza guy. So my feelings toward this place are a comparison of the one in CT to the one here. Salad was our starter, and it was drenched in dressing. we had both the Pepe’s salad and the Ceasar salads, and they both were overloaded with dressing. for pizza, we ordered the traditional cheese pie and a clam pizza.

Our server was excellent, Raul (so sorry if I got it wrong. ). Knowledge and very informative. He stayed on top of refilling my lemonade. I never had to ask for a refill. Explained we could have our pizza toasty or medium since it made in a fire oven. We started with sharing a small Cesar salad. It was plenty for two. We had a medium Margarita pizza, it was delicious and to our surprise it was large. We took half home. We also had a slice of the lemonchello cake. Fantastic abd is was perfect for cleaning the palette. I did request a coffee, but to my surprise, coffee is not on the menu. We will definitely be back. Bravo!

10/10 goes to Margie our server! She was so sweet and a great waitress! I dont know why there are all these bad reviews but im from NY with high standards on pizza & salads. The house salad and Margherita pizza was both perfect.salad was actually one of my favorites and I would come back just for the house salad!! $12 for a large salad fed 4 of us!! Nothing wrong with either and we will be back! This is a coal brick oven pizza, the crust is supposed to be crispy/charred so yall are crazy for saying bad things about it. If you’re looking for the traditional pizza from anybody around the area, then stick with boring pizza this is the place to come for real authentic pizza! great job on the delray location!

Opening day success! Our first time trying this pizza and “wow” it was delicious! Our server Margie was excellent and the rest of the staff working well together on day 1…which usually doesn’t happen at most restaurant openings.

Loved this restaurant in CT, both in New Haven and Buckland Hills and LOVED IT in Delray Beach! Went there opening day, the food was nothing short of the best around, and I am so happy we brought some friends with us. I believe we will make it a tradition!
