Dickey’s barbecue pit is absolutely delicious. The three guys that were working at Dickey’s were great guys and gave great service. I ordered the three meat combo. It came with two sides and a roll. My mother was with me and she ordered the Westerner sandwich combo. It comes with two meats on the sandwich and two sides. I highly recommend giving Dickey’s a try.

I had a pulled pork sandwich with BBQ sauce on the side. Eating just the sandwich was enough to fill me up. It was a really good sandwich with a toasted bun. I didn’t try anything else and it was my first time trying their menu. The counter staff was friendly and helpful. An employee mentioned that on Mondays they have a special where you can get the sandwich and two sides for the price of one sandwich. The place looked clean and they also have a catering menu.

I ordered the extra large meal for some dinner guests. I ordered the sliced brisket but it came as the shredded but that was actually the best part of the meal. But it’s not what I ordered. It said it serves up to 6 guests but we got 5 ribs. Wouldn’t you think you would get enough for the number of people? So one person didn’t get a rib. I thought the chicken breast would be chicken breasts but it was chopped chicken and it was so dry even with the sauce. The rolls were as hard as rocks and I’m not exaggerating. The green beans were about a half a cup and there was no bacon in them. The other sides were just ok. I paid $100 for this food and it was so disappointing and not the best experience with guests. I’ve eaten at Dickey’s in other locations and it was always good so I’m not sure if it was this St George store or what but I won’t be eating there again. If you’re looking for a good meal for a group I wouldn’t use them.

The food was good but it was the service that made all the difference today! I was so impressed with the owner’s son, Kyler, who was working behind the counter. He was so on top of it, full of personality and was making food like a champ! He’s only 14 years old! This kid is going to grow up and do lots of good things in life.

For $20 I got the 3 meat plate and 2 sides. No exaggeration the pulled pork was entirely pieces of fat. The brisket was a bunch of little pieces of dried meat. The chicken was 2 chicken nugget size pieces. The green beans were primarily liquid, maybe got 2 bites from it. The bbq beans were good. Unfortunately I got it to go and didn’t notice tell I was home otherwise I would have returned the food. 3 stars instead of 1 because usually the foods good and the portions are alright.
