Walked into the restaurant, empty restaurant, and said we would like a table. We were asked if we had reservations. We did not. He said we are extremely busy. I looked behind him and said, “yeah, you looks really busy”. In which he replied very condescendingly, we are waiting for a lot of reservations”. It was 8:30 and they closed at 9. No more people arrived after us.

It’s Petoskey MI. You need to have realistic expectations lol. This place is good. Deb is always our waitress and she is fantastic. She is always so sweet. It’s a nice room. It’s comped. What’s not to like!?

My favorite restaurant in Northern Michigan. I’ve had seafood, Italian, and steak entrees and every meal was excellent. Friendly, professional staff and Chefs. Usually have specials on the weekend with a wonderful bar menu available. Beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere.

Upon walking in we were asked if we had a reservation . We didn’t – but were told the bar was available for open seating. (Everything happens for a reason!!) We sat at the bar rail and Erica was our bartender. She was excellent. Very attentive to our drinks and brought us fresh bread right away. They did offer a special menu for the lounge (bar) area which looked good. Fried calamari with the sauce it came with was 10/10…my fiancé is still talking about the seafood chowder a week later! He loved it! I had higher hopes for the garlic mash but it was still good!!

The food is consistently delicious. There are unique menu items. The staff is fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and they let you enjoy well prepared meals in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

I come here on special occasions. The ambiance is great. Nice big windows, really comfortable seating, cool wine tower, and if you look closely, the bar is made out of fossils! I love coming here right before a show. Debra is always a joy to talk to. My favorite thing to order is the gnocchi, and has a really extensive drink menu. The atmosphere is relaxing and this is just a great place to go if you want a special night.
