Every time I eat here I am so happy. The food is amazing and I’ve always enjoyed everything I order. Today’s special was over the top fantastic. Oyster mushrooms stew over rice with cabbage, black eyed peas, cornbread and a drink. Everything was so delicious. The portions are great too. I wish I had room for more!

Listen, I’m not even vegan. My brother came to visit (who is vegan) and we drove around town to find him a good place to eat. I ordered the BBQ Cauliflower & Fries. I was very impressed with the flavors. Plus I tasted just about every thing on my bother’s plate. It was all so good. I know I will be back and I’ll be bringing the family too. Small vegan restaurant that is like a hidden gem! The service was friendly, fast and excellent! Wonderful place to support, especially any vegans visiting the area! -I’m from PA and thought it would be hard to find vegan food in GA. So this place was a beacon of hope!

I was so happy to try this place. The atmosphere immediately made me feel like I was home with family. I ordered the big vegan soul with fried oyster mushrooms. My sides were lima beans, collard greens, okra, cornbread, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious!! I especially loved the okra, collard greens, and cornbread. Next time I’m in Savannah I’ll definitely be back!

I was so indecisive I had to get a little of everything. It was all so delicious, I’ve never had vegan food like this, it was everything I needed on a rainy day to warm me up. I got the fried oyster mushrooms and they were hot, crispy, and fresh. Other restaurants fried mushrooms sometimes get kinda mushy, but that was not a problem here at all. I dipped them in ranch and buffalo and it was perfect. I got three veggies, the collard greens, lima beans, and cabbage. The limas were such a highlight! Seasoned perfectly. The collard greens were also very good. I wasn’t as obsessed with the cabbage since it wasn’t as flavorful as the the other veggies, but that’s more personal preference. The mac and cheese was nice too. I was wondering if the cornbread was undercooked based on the light coloring, but it was fluffy and crumbly and exactly as it should be. Even if I wasn’t planning on coming back for the food, I’d be back for the customer service. All the employees were so kind and helpful! Definitely about to be my new go to vegan spot!

Highly recommend the fried oyster mushrooms, but everything we got was so delicious and the environment was comfortable and the workers were friendly, if you’re in the area you definitely need to check this place out!!!

My boyfriend went in to get takeout and said the people working here were super nice! The food is great and exactly what we were looking for. It’s hard to find soul food that’s vegetarian/ vegan. It’s even harder to find it nut-free (this isn’t advertised and I would definitely check with them if you have an allergy!). My boyfriend mentioned that he was ordering for me too and they gave him an extra cornbread (which is so so good, wonderfully moist and dense). Overall a wonderful place to stop!!

Even before I stepped foot inside the restaurant, a gentleman was giving praises to the food so that to me was a good sign. All I got was the lima beans, and stewed okra with tomatoes and wow it was delicious. My compliments and gratitude to the hands that prepared and blessed me with this great food.
