Update! Had the backdraft pizza, the sausage was okay and the jalapeños are my classic combo with pepperoni. You can only order online not at the truck. Orders are typically ready within 20-30 minutes but when busy can be longer. The size of the pizza for the price was very fair. Pepperoni is my go to and it was great. Thin and crispy and holds up when you pick up a slice you don’t have to fold it in half like New York style pizza. They offered complimentary packets of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes my personal go to add ons for pizza. They have pizza rolls and salads. Can be a little inconsistent and forget add ons to pizza which are an up charge.

Really sub-standard pie tonight. The pie was not evenly cooked and although I only arrived 5 mins after the text notification saying it was ready, it was barely lukewarm when I got to my car and ate a slice.

Drove all the way here from work on my lunch hour , just to find an empty parking lot. Then when I called no one answers the phone either. It would be really nice if you would actually take the 5 minutes to update this for Google so that other people don’t waste there time driving to an empty parking lot hungry. Really wanted to try this place as I’m a fan of pizza but oh well … plenty other pizza places in Austin that are actually open.

Ordered the pizza rolls. They were good but for some reason they came in a order of 3. Absurd and bad procedure. Pizza rolls are a shareable item and who eats in 3’s? Charge more and offer four. Bad way to cut corners and try to improve margin.

$$$ The fresh basil smelt heavenly on our car ride home. Opened the box & they looked perfect. Such great flavor, both pizza were great. I almost ordered only one for a family of 4 but I’m so glad I got 2 because they are more like a medium pizza. I was expecting at least a large pizza in size, which they don’t say the size online. Just wish it was a tad bit thicker too so you can enjoy the crust a little more too. Maybe next time we’ll try a different flavor & We will be back to try one of those waffles though!!

Stopped by this afternoon on a friends recommendation. Pizza was amazing beautifully cooked, with the perfect ratio of crisp crust and soft melted fresh toppings. They’re in a great location surrounded by plenty of brewerys and don’t forget to have a waffle for desert.

BackDraft Pizzeria would have gotten 5 stars for the flavors of the pizza and pizza rolls but the timing was so slow, it left me wondering if I was just starving when the pizza was finally ready. They were so busy that they ran out of cheese and took about 40 minutes to prep the ingredients. I did enjoy the dough and the selections of pizza.
