This is such a hidden gem in the Heart of St. Peters. It’s tucked away in an unassuming location, but the food is just so worth it. Lovely Mediterranean classics served in such a casual way. Staff is friendly and the food is just stellar. Need I say more? Crispy fries, excellent shawarma, kebabs, and hummus is to die for. Definitely will be coming back again.

Chicken was very tender and flavorful. Garlic sauce was amazing. The rice was cooked perfectly and had delicious spices. Beef shawarma was juicy and tahini sauce was delicious. The fries were standard but cooked wonderfully, nice and crisp. Loved dipping them in the garlic sauce.

Best chicken in town hands on. For $20 a full one with hummus, pita, rice and sauce. What a deal. Enough for two. MAKE SURE TO CALL AN Hour ahead of time TO ORDER YOUR CHICKEN. Really worth it.

Initially when I walked in a noticed the upbeat music playing in the background that really set the vibe for the store. The decor and plants give it a nice touch. The worker greeted me the second I opened the door with a big smile. The food was fresh and the place was clean. The worker came and checked in on me twice while I was there to make sure I was doing alright. It’s been a while since I experienced this service at a restaurant. They truly do make you feel at home. I encourage everyone to try them out. You will not be disappointed.

After hearing about Golden Chicken I went there asap to try it out. This is my second time going. The first time I tried three things that looked most attractive to me. Lemon garlic wings, hot honey wings, and marinated grilled chicken skewers. The skewers were juicy and very flavorful. Classic Mediterranean herbs and spices. My only qualm was the portion size is extremely small relative to the price. The wings, however, were FANTASTIC. The hot honey is a predictable blend of sweet heat. Nothing out of the ordinary but finger-licking-good nonetheless. The real surprise was the lemon garlic. This sauce is nothing like I’ve ever had. Very citrusy, lemon forward, with a deep savory garlic secondary note. Truly unique as far as wing sauces go. It’s refreshing to experience something new when you’ve been to as many different places specifically for wings as I have. The second time I went they were sadly out of lemon garlic sauce so I had to get hot honey. Indeed a bummer but still delicious. The chicken itself is quite high quality. NOT jumbo wings which is super important when it comes to texture and flavor. These puppies are exactly what you want in a wing. On top of tremendous wings the staff here couldn’t possibly be more friendly and welcoming. Huge smiles. Strongly recommend coming here and trying the lemon garlic wings. 8.9/10 clucks

Very bad service. They served the salad dish with not fresh vegetables. The owner of the restaurant dealt with us in an inappropriate way. They said that it was grape leaves that filled the restaurant, but it turned out that it was grape leaves. Made boxes, and they refused to return the money as well.

Must try baklava and schwarma. Very friendly and kind cooks/servers. First time here and it’s definitely a hidden gem. If you like Mediterranean food and middle eastern cuisine. This is probably hands down, one of the best places I’ve found in the states, I’ve traveled the world. Their fries and wings are also pretty good, juicy and pretty large for chicken wings. They prepare the food fresh. The inside is sporty, almost like Buffalo Wild Wings. Dine in or take out, there’s plenty of room.
