My food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef! Note** I am not a paid patron, i leave honest reviews. I had the oxtails and they were very tender and falling off the bones . Come support a local business that’s new let’s put our money back into our community. Thank you for bringing some island vibes to Stonecrest, we needed it !

I came and got the chicken curry. Asked for large, that’s when the problem started. Stated it was 14.99 but I could not find a posted price. I asked for a menu and he stated ot was online. Well there is no large chicken curry with sizes online so I will say. I didn’t like paying a made up price. Second my large chicken curry the rice had 5 red beans total not an exaggerating. Like he was short so he put 1 can instead of 5 for a 20 lb bag if rice. The food was too spicy, understand I like my food extra spicy and I always get extra spice on it. Was WAY too spicy out of the 78 chicken curries I tried all around atlants this was the most disappointing. The portion per price would have been appropriate in the more expensive part of town but I felt like I got taken for a ride. Another thing was there was not a single plantain every single Jamaican chicken curry I ever had had two pieces of plantain this one had nothing. I can say about this place the man is extremely clean and he’s very careful with his spoon I saw two individual top water troughs for spoon storage and he was careful to not cross-contaminate the store was extremely clean and man was professional enough but there is a lot to learn and this place still short of expectation and was the worst on my list out of 78 for problems problems listed above.

This is all the flavor I could ask for. Rice was on point, plenty of mixins and great taste. Oxtail that fall off the bone, peppersteak that melts in your mouth, and the cabbage was a perfect compliment.

First I must say it’s a 5 star for the taste, but a 3 star for the service. I believe in giving the customer what they ask for, even if it’s going to cost a little more. The young lady serving was very polite. However, the man who seems to be the owner not so bad on conversation, but it’s bad when you ask for something and offered something different. I “DO NOT” eat dark meat, and we offered to pay more for only white meat, but was given dark meat anyways with a story behind it. We would have sincerely become avid customers if the service was great/better, but I won’t be going back despite the great taste. My suggestion to you as a new business owner based on our conversation is to provide what the customer request, no what you think they should receive. You can’t be stingy , and strive in a business; speaking from one business owner to another. Best of luck next time. You just lost two customers.

Poor quality food. 1st visit to this eatery. Noise from TV videos so loud that communication was difficult. Placed 2 orders; Goat was very tasty but rice and peas on both orders was overcooked and mushy. Asked for plantains on both orders and recieved only one serving which was 2 slivers of stale dried out and inedible fruit. Jerk chicken was flavourful, but small meager servings for size large. Paid 30.00 for an overall unsatisfactory meal. Will not go back.

OMG the worker is an absolute sweetheart and makes you feel welcomed and warm. I haven’t tried the food because the order wasn’t for me but I can say I will go back just strictly off of how good the food smell and how amazing the customer service is.
