Whenever we travel to Independence, we have to stop by Aunt Bea’s at least once. The all-day breakfast is great along with the BBQ sandwiches and desserts. We found the service to be very friendly on both of our stops during this trip. The food is good and the prices very reasonable.

Went there at 6:05 pm my daughter had a play across the street and needed to be there by 630. After almost 20 min waiting they still had no hushpuppies or fries dropped. That’s all we were getting and 2 cups of ice.

A true locals place, we used the drive through on a road trip and LOVED the diner style fare. BF got the steak sandwich plate, which came with 2 sides and steak sauce. I thought the price was right! We didn’t know it came with sides or we would have ordered more. The green beans were perfection! I got a BBQ sandwich and it was great, slaw and sauce already mixed in, absolutely delicious. The true star was the ice cream sundae, BF wished he got one for himself. We almost stopped at the Bea’s in Galax for more and we’ll definitely be back next time.
