Jack in the Box was always one of if not my favorite fast food joint for year’s, a big part of that was because they were open 24 hour’s. The second part was because they were pretty affordable and you didn’t need it to be a special occasion to stop there, just having the munchies was good enough reason. But alas, those days are long gone and I don’t think they’ll ever be back. My last trip there a few days ago or so, they were out of 2 tacos for whatever it is now, not 99 cents I can assure you, and every other taco item on the menu for that matter, and to be fair it not the first time and it’s been at several locations . So this was not just a one bad day event . And it is a drag.

Friendly service at the counter. Food came out fast and fresh. They are not stingy with condiments if you ask for them which I appreciate. Coca Cola Freestyle soda machine is a standard at all Jack in the Boxes which rivals others by allowing you to choose almost any flavor soda for almost every Coke brand (e.g. Coke Zero, Fanta Orange, Sprite x, etc).

The person who took my order padded my order with extras I never asked for and then tried to short me my cash back even though the receipt (that she didn’t give me) clearly told her the change. I called the store after I got home and reported the wrong order and the fact that an employee tried to steal from me, but obviously it wasn’t important enough for them to respond. Maybe the management of that store is in on the stealing from customers, otherwise why wouldn’t they bother to get back to me about my complaint?
