Amazing little breakfast spot on pico. All their juice is fresh squeezed, and they have outdoor seating. Try the catfish and eggs for a different breakfast dish. Also the French toast is a must have. Their customer service is so good, and so friendly, and the food came out pretty fast. Highly recommend if you’re in the mid city area.

Just moved into the area a couple of weeks ago so this morning, Saturday, we want to try a local breakfast spot and we are both really happy that we tried CJ’s. Parking was really easy, which is always a bonus. They have a parking lot in the back, but also parking on the street and the neighborhood behind are really easy. There was no wait when we arrived because we were a party of two however, parties of three and more had been waiting a little bit. Their menu is large and there are a lot of great choices both classic American dishes and Mexican breakfasts. They also serve lunch, but we only tried breakfast today. The service was very prompt, polite and they were very quick with the refills which is always huge to me.

Seems like a popular spot. However, my Milanese de Pollo wasn’t well breaded and was too charred. Still it tasted decent. The beans and rice were only ok. The highlight was the big iced coffee. Service is slow and inefficient. Meter parking.

Such a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have so many options of food that you are sure to find something. The staff is extremely attentive, kind and fast. I love the fact that it’s not only one person attending to your needs, but multiple people pass by and ask you if there’s anything you need. The food is delicious and freshly done. I love that they have fresh juices available which my favorite is the #5. Definitely worth checking them out.
