Split decision: chicken vegetable soup is the best soup I’ve ever had. Literally!! Wow and the fried pickles are incredible. Shrimp & grits, although beautiful – the only flavorful part of the dish are the shrimp. Also, the $10 Marco dog was a disappointment. Not only is it not in a brioche bun as advertised on the menu, it comes with a tiny basic flavorless white bread bun that splits the minute you pick it up. I was able to add toppings since it comes plain but I would never have ordered it not as advertised. Also, the Bloody Mary’s were pretty weak, not a whole lot of flavor. The service was very hurried, there seemed to be one waitress and the service wasn’t great. So split decision – some gems, some not. Great atmosphere though.

Party of 7 for lunch, BLT, Tuna Salad Croissant, Belgian Waffle, Mexican egg skillet, French Toast, Reuben and a huge chicken, apple walnut salad. All brought out hot and everyone raved about it. Loved it because 7 people could at at a table and actually hear each other. So rare these days. Absolutely wonderful experience with gracious owner there. This is what dining out used to be.

The Smith House does not disappoint! The food is amazing! I’m not a fish eater, but tonight I had the Tripletail and it was delicious! Great atmosphere and service. I highly recommend this restaurant in this unique area of Olde Marco. Afterwards you can walk across to the Boardroom Tavern. They have a great courtyard with outdoor seating and live music!

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast in Marco. Such a cute and cozy atmosphere on the patio and by far the best breakfast I’ve had in the area. We haven’t been in a few months and it’s says temporarily closed on google. I’m assuming they were damaged from hurricane Ian. Really hoping they re-open soon. This really is the only place I’ve found for breakfast that I really look forward to going to.

Very noticeable ownership works hard to provide the customer with an excellent memorable experience by providing 5 star employees to cook (try that spinach and artichoke appetizer to start). Triple Tale Fish tacos (blackened) bursted with flavor. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality of fish and how well it was cooked. Service was on point and in order!! App, then salad, then main course. Lastly the environment- whimsical and modern yet old age feel. Designing team did great with this restaurant. Our party of 5 enjoyed our meal indoors next to the big window where we could listen/see the singer while enjoy our meal. Thank you Smith House staff.
