It’s not a fancy sit down type of place. The tosatadas I ordered hit the spot. They were exactly what I wanted no rice or beans. The chicken was moist and had good flavor. I have also ordered the Tampiquena steak. Please keep in mind it’s a small local run restaurant not a steak house. The plate was flavorful, the aguacate perfect not brown.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! They make everything fresh and sell everything that they make. They even do fresh juices. I got the gorditas and they were amazing! Their chips are really good and we bought a bag to take home.

I’ve been here many times before and the fue has been great. Sadly everything I had today had very little if any taste. I hope they get the old recipe or cooks back from before. The Tamales , and Menudo lacked al the flavor they had before. I probably won’t be gong back anytime soon.

The staff was friendly and the food came out fairly quick. The menudo I ordered was decent…the hominy had a rubbery consistency and the tortillas for the burritos were good but they don’t add much in them for the price they charge. The place was very clean, I’ll give them that. I’d like to rate this place higher but the food was just okay. I’m thinking this was because the place was kind of dead (after all they are in high competition in the area) maybe if I had dined in, it would’ve been better. Nice place though. Would come back

I really liked the place. Nothing special but nice, the food was good but Mom or grandma could probably do it better. The service was sub par. We ordered menudo that we never got. Later as we’re finishing our meal then we were asked if we still wanted the menudo. They don’t serve chips and salsa and they don’t serve beer. Prices are okay for the way things are nowadays so what ever. All in all I give it 2 ⭐.
