I had a set of soft tofu stew and ribs, and it was similar to the taste I used to eat in Korea, and it was very good to be able to eat stone pot rice.

Chodang’s menu is primarily focused on soon dubu (soft tofu hotpot) and they do a great job. The banchan is also focused on a few items and they’re great too. They’re probably the best place on the east side for soon dubu.

Both my wife and I love Korean food and we holding a high bar for the taste, I would say this place definitely exceed our expectations. All the dishes are very good taste, plus they give one fish per person for free and it’s really good. Highly recommend, I’m very sure I’ll come back again.

Been here twice now. Once when it was busy. Once when it was empty between lunch and dinner. Both times food was fantastic and service was amazing. Good portions, friendly staff, nice ambiance. They even have a banchan server who walks around asking if you want more side dishes. Highly recommend.

This place is so so so good. It’s the best tofu soup I’ve ever had. I originally knew about this place in federal way, 10-12 years ago. It was good back then and it’s good now.

Not bad, but very Americanized in a not so good way. The breading on the seafood pancake is wayyyyy to thick. It should not be a bread. Everything was very sweet, I think to westernize the flavors. Will not be going back considering it is also pricy

I came here with my family and significant other for dinner. The restaurant is aesthetically clean and pleasing. It was semi busy in the evening, but we were lucky that there was a table available. There are various great Korean dishes on the menu and it’s very vegetarian/pescatarian friendly. The staff was amazingly quick and attentive! I enjoyed the limitless banchan dish refills as their portions are very very small. Not only that, I do believe their banchan is lackluster, their kimchi has not fermented long enough or lacked seasoning. Even though their potato salad and bean sprouts was alright, their pickled cucumber was crazy addictive! The meal itself however is plenty filling and flavorful! It is pricier, but very worthy! I had ordered the combo which included a tofu seafood soup, sizzling hot stone rice, my kalbi entree, and side dishes. Food wait time is a bit long, but understandably so. This is definitely a every once in a while, indulgent kind of place for me.
