The food here was fantastic. Everything came out hot and just as we ordered. First time eating at this place and I will say that they definitely did a great job with preparing the meal. It’s unfortunate that you have to pay extra for drinks. The place itself was pretty clean. The service was ok i guess I didn’t see or feel any type of vibes from the staff good or bad so i guess that can be looked at as a plus in some people eyes…. But honestly overall I will say this is definitely a spot most people would love to eat at. Great food

The food was basically fast food but it was really good the chicken was tender and the breading on the chicken had a great flavor the sauce that was served with the chicken was very tasty. The person who helped me and served my food was friendly in away that’s not often seen in a fast food place. The place was clean. But it was a basic fast food restaurant so I’m not sure we can say it was a great atmosphere.

Their food is always good, and never experienced a bad time with their food!! The problem is teens & kids nowadays don’t have common sense or courtesy to smile and be polite until their shift is over. The least you can do, because you applied for that job is to be polite and respectful! I highly recommend going inside than the drive through because the people that are running the drive through and impatient and can be rude. There needs to be a strong communicative attitude adult in there showing the workers how to properly give above and beyond service!! A lot of the bad reviews seems to be “old entitled Hags” not getting their way.

Noticed it while driving around and figured I’d give it a try. It was really good. I got the 5 pc tender combo tossed in Buffalo sauce. Total was $10.72. The combos do NOT come with a drink, but they come with: fries, toast, slaw, and 1 and/or 2 dipping sauces. They do have the CC reader that asks for a tip, which is annoying obviously.

It is rare that I leave reviews but I had to for this experience. I’ve passed by Huey Magoo’s several times without stopping. Today I finally decided to try it-on a Sunday afternoon at 11:30 a.m. -which is prime time for lunch. I ordered a 5 piece with fries, toast and a sweet tea. At the price of $14 for fast food chicken fingers, I was expecting top notch. Unfortunately, it was anything but delicious and barely edible. The chicken fingers were over breaded -not crispy and the chicken itself was gummy and dry. The fries were way over-seasoned, tasted old with freezer burn and left a bad taste in my mouth. Even the toast was hard and stale. Food coming out at those prices for fast food, should always be top notch before being being presented to the public. It was Extremely disappointing. The one and only good experience was the cashier, who was friendly & pleasant. I will not be returning.

Me and my girl came here for the first time. She ended up trying the lemon pepper tenders and didn’t like them. I went up to buy her 3 plain ones and the lady at the counter just gave them to us for free, but not just the tenders but the whole meal. She said it’s not a big deal I just want you guys to come back. We definitely will come back! The tenders were juicy not dry like some other places, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Fries were perfectly seasoned as well and came with delicious fry sauce. They have a watermelon tea which I liked! Thank you for the kindness we definitely will be back, and recommend this joint to others!

I came today 7/15/23 at 1;50pm . I order the Huey Magoo’s chicken wrap without the signature sauce add extra ranch . I had to repeat the order like 3 times so I should’ve known something wouldn’t be right when I sat down to eat it. Not only did it ( NOT) have ranch on it . I order a half sweet tea and half lemonade, yet you couldn’t taste a bit of tea in the drink . I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again I have no problem with young people working in a restaurant but if you can’t do your job properly ( which is to ring up food ) then the restaurant owes to the customer for you to be placed in another area. Had I lived closer I would’ve come back and asked for my money back because this wasn’t what I asked for . Management you guys need to do better, and now I DON’T know if I will return back to this establishment.

I am leaving the old review but am adding a new one for today. We were taking our grandson to the airport and we let him pick a place for lunch. He picked Huey MaGoo’s. Such a difference from my other review. The greetings at the counter, the employees hustling around delivering food or cleaning tables. The food was great, as always (I have gone to other Huey MaGoo’s while traveling for work) but wanted to update my review of this one. Good job!

I loved this place when they first opened. I would drive all the way from Clemson for the tenders!! Now, not so much. The employees are not friendly anymore, and the fries look like they got to the end of the bag, and all that was left was the broken up pieces. When I go through the drive thru, they always short me on tenders and the toast that I paid extra for. Management doesn’t make it right either.
