The (glazed teriyaki steak on rice or lo main( I got both, half and half,/w California Roll, little salad,deep fried breaded, broccoli , ring, potato chips. The Steak tasted so fresh like a real steak with a sweet teriyaki glazed then I added Seracha and Soy sauce to the lo main, it was so amazing, for get Mc Donald’s. It was only $11.99.(Can’t beat that! )

Was just talking to a friend who lives in Bakersfield, about this place that I would go get take out with my Grandma after grandpa passed in the 90s. The food was wonderful and I see it still is since you’re still around. If I ever get back to Bakersfield again I’m definitely stopping by for a quick bite. Haven’t eaten here since 1999 when I left the state for college. Love the larger menu now too.

Guy took our order this time, but everytime we go to this establishment they always get the order wrong, weather it be a guy or the usual female who most of the time takes our order and leaves items out. The girl likes to argue and will always blame us that we didn’t tell her no sauce or add cream cheese ect… (example of our orders) anyway, tonight’s order was for sure our last order at this restaurant. Teriyaki bowl used to be a nice place to go to when we wanted some quick sushi or orange chicken, unfortunately the staff is rude and likes to argue and NEVER get the orders correct.

This used to be a favorite of mine, the past few years it has declined steadily and is now at a point that I will not return. The staff have always been nice but the food is now horrendous. Not for the first time, the chicken tasted old and was cooked days in advance with old/used water to steam it. This last time I was bold enough to order shrimp and it was precooked and freezer burnt. Both entrees seemed like the were microwaved I’d the same generic sauce and they tossed the veg in last minute, not flavor at all to them (besides old & freezer). The steamed rice even tasted like burnt/dried steam table. Freaking shame.

Ordered a rainbow roll and it didnt look like a traditional Rainbow roll which i found odd. The food wasn’t bad but its wasn’t the best sushi ive had. Food took a while to come out as well.
