State law only requires a hat to be worn. Half way through eating my order I find hair cooked into my food. If they have a hat on a hairnet in not required and nor is it required to have their hair in a bun. They offered my next meal would be free but why would anyone want to eat there if they’re not going to enforce better health codes.

Took the wife to lunch, she was excited the buffet was back. We noticed a lot of items missing, but still enough to get full. The sticker shock of $30 86 for two buffets and waters was robbery. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised it ranks on par with most food joints on that street for something horrendous.

Cold, windy evening, I25 south was closed. Wasn’t necessarily hungry but stopped anyway. Town seemed dreary and desolate. Went “The Hut.” Place was warm, friendly, waitress was motivated. The feeling like she wanted to be there and that I was welcome. Asked for something small and “snacky”. I was thinking a Pzone.. she brought me a meat lovers melt with extra japahinos… And a coffee . Thing was great… Just enough.. some other travellers came in… Said that the wreck was off the road and highway is open. Definitely go back..
