The food was very good! The portions are extremely small for the price. The prices were equivalent to festival pricing for the amount of food received. Everyone there was very nice, however when my husband ordered a dish and asked for no cole slaw, he was very rudely told that he’d be getting the Cole slaw. It wasn’t pointed out to him that the next dish on the menu for $4 less was what he ordered minus Cole slaw. When the food came out, it’s packaged to go even if you’re eating there. They don’t actually serve you your food, they call your name and you get it to take to your table yourself. My husbands order didn’t have the Cole slaw. I asked for it so I could eat it and I was told, well your husband didn’t want it. When I finally got it, the Cole slaw was in a small condiment container and had a horrible flavor. Pulled chicken was good. Smoked mac & cheese had no smoke flavoring, but was good as regular mac & cheese. The salt potatoes were very good with a twist, they smash them up and fry them. The dining area was very clean. They have small picnic tables for outdoor dining. Parking lot for off street parking.

We’ve gotten food from here twice now and it’s DELICIOUS! the first time was the food truck and the second time was in the restaurant, both times the food was fresh, delicious, and fast! I’m partial to the brisket Mac and cheese and my husband loves the ribs, but I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the loaded salt potatoes were! We’ll definitely be back ❤️

Had only heard good things about this place from other locals, and I’m so glad we stopped in today! The smashed and fried salt potatoes were legit – next time I’ve gotta try them loaded The BBQ is flavorful and juicy even before sauce is added – we got the brisket and the pulled pork – and the sandwiches are huuuge! Will absolutely be a new regular spot for us in Palmyra, 13/10 would absolutely recommend!!

How good could New York BBQ could possibly be? That’s what this southerner thought as we decided to try this place out.The food was amazing and the service was stellar. We didn’t have to wait long before the food all came out. I recommend The Stroke with brisket; delicious and very filling.

Generally good. As described by others..price vs quantity..is over priced…ie 3 small ribs.@10?..the side dishes..varied Wildly..I suggest..price on ” a number average..let the customer select.”..napkins should be available at EVERY table… without “asking”…the Mac-cheese..baked w/bread crumbs…was the highlight of the meal. Open weekends only.. definitely hurts business…the interior repairs were done…were done with great style and thought..I hope my/others will prompt changes necessary for continued/added success.

I was craving something different and found this spot. I ordered a half rack of ribs and 1/3 lbs of brisket. Friendly staff and fast service. The food was excellent, however it was a bit pricey. Totally worth it, in my opinion. Portions were decent. Unfortunately, they are only open Saturdays and Sundays. I’m excited to try other menu items!

Had their BBQ at Reinvention Brewing from their food truck several times. It was great! Meat is so tender and never dry. Sides are all made in- house. Especially love the Mac and cheese. Staff is so friendly ( owners). They give you ample food for the price. Highly recommend.
