Stopped in for lunch on our trip to South Carolina. The service was fine but the food was not how we remember it. To top it off our daughter picked a toy that was priced at 9.99 and then was 24.99 at tue register. After looking at the process they simply said we can refund it but that’s all. Customer service and owning your mistake used to matter. Not any more. We will not return.

This was my first visit to this location. I had not tried the Cracker Barrel fried catfish before and had high expectations. Let’s start with the huge serving! There were 5 large pieces accompanied by 2 sides and biscuits. I truly could only eat 2 fillets and took the rest home. It was served steaming hot and crunchy on the outside yet tender on the inside. The breading was a little on the salty side so taste it before you bring out the salt shaker. I opted for the steamed broccoli and fried apples. If you haven’t had the fried apples, it’s like pie without the crust. Wonderful! Our server was great, handicapped parking was plentiful. The entree was $12.99, which was a bargain considering it made two meals.

Had a plate of food in 3 minutes that was fresh and hot. That is insane, in metro ATL it takes 15 min to get a waiter after a 30 min wait. The coffee was fresh and hot and Amy was everywhere at once taking care of everyone with a peaceful, calm, and loving demeanor. Food was delicious the coffee was delicious it was just a fantastic experience I’ve been to many cracker barrels of the past couple of decades and this is the best experience yet out of all of them from Texas to the East Coast.

We had a big party of 18-20 with 4 little kids. The server Chynna was great. It was a struggle getting all the food out at the same time which was the only downer as we waited 20 minutes more while half the group ate. But the service tried to make up for that with refills on drinks and being very attentive. Considering this was a Sunday afternoon I am glad we were in so fast. The wait was like 10 minutes while they set up. The food was good. And I love shopping the clearance at Cracker Barrel.
