This is not the old Brock’s that we are used to. Before you walked in, ordered off the menu, served yourselves a drink, and then chose your seat. Prices were reasonable for what you got. Bar food.

Brocks is on land that belonged to my grandparents many years ago and the original tin building was a county maintenence barn when my grandfather was County Commissioner for Precinct 4. I was very excited to see such a unique business with great food, great service and such a fun atmosphere in a place that holds so many memories for me when I was growing up.

Service and atmosphere were were good. Paid nearly $70 plus tip for three meals. I do not recommend the onion rings nor the sliced beef brisket. The brisket was dry and probably had been previously sliced later in the day before serving. It did have good flavor but for what we spent we were disappointed with quailty control. Onion rings were tasted like they had been set out for a bit as well or refried. No flavor. We did mention to the waitress about the onions rings and the brisket. Sliced brisket was replaced with chopped beef. We did enjoy that. Had a good flavor and not too much fat. If we go again we’ll order the chopped beef. Turkey was ok. It was nearly dry as well. Side salads and baked beans were pretty good. There was no bread offered on any of the plates. Unfortunately we’re not certain if we’d ever make it out again but hopefully it was just a off day.

Good food and some of the staff were great. Our waitress and waiter went beyond Great. But some need to watch what comes out of their mouths. Especially when children are present. Can’t downgrade a place just because two people don’t care about what they say. Glad they didn’t come to our table because they would have been told so.

I initially gave 5 stars after my initial visit which was dine in. The second experience was poor. I called an hour in advance and placed a $141 take out order. When I showed up, waited 15 minutes for the food. The take out was for my work crew a half hour away. After getting to work, the $62 of ribs I ordered were missing. Talked to manager Miranda who would not deliver and said I could get refund or get it next time. I drove a half hour back from work site to get the ribs and back (an hour round trip). The attention to detail in the kitchen is poor but they have great food. My wife owns a restaurant which is why I gave them 4 stars and not 3.

Cool place! Regular restaurant next door, huge bandstand and bar area out back. Shrimp plate was very good, loved their cole slaw! Service was good, nice seeing Brock on-site chatting up the guests!

Off the Acton Hwy a cool little spot. Lots of choices on the menu. You can eat indoors or outdoors. They have a full bar inside and outside. Certain evenings they have live music on a great custom stage.
