Pleasantly surprised by this hole-in-the-wall take out. A craving hit on a Monday night and my normal place was closed. Nothing was too greasy, and everything was fresh and hot. The sesame chicken wasn’t all breading and had a good flavor, and the Singapore mei fun had a nice spice to it. I’ll definitely be adding Golden Island to my regular list!

Most of the stuff i got from here didnt taste that good. Chicken pad thai was ok but no lime and didnt seem like any pad thai ive had before. Chicken was tough. Rice was ok, only thing good was the pineapple.

First and last time I’ll ever order from this place. The food was not edible. Tasted like there was lead paint in the General’s chicken. The chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce had a very similar bad flavor. I feel awful about this but I had to throw the food away. I mean even when you get a restaurant that’s not so good, but they get close enough for it to pass. The flavors were not even somewhat close to any version of either of these dishes.

Awful! Awful! Awful! The General Tso’s had some kind of disgusting sauce on it not sure what it was but it definitely was not the normal sauce that comes on it from other places. The lo mein noodles had such a bad flavor I ended up throwing them all out. I would never go here again and I would never recommend.
