My husband and I stopped in while traveling through Crockett. This place will not disappoint!! We had the shrimp and fish combo and it was absolutely delicious!! You gotta get the corn machine!! Can’t say enough about this place!! Friendly service! You’re missing out so head on over!!

What a neat place — head and shoulders above the usual east Texas ‘american’ food joint. The shrimp po’boy was luscious — nicely fried fat shrimp, just the right amount of cole slaw, and a red sauce well worthy of the name. Sides were great — can you really go wrong with collard greens or squash? My husband wished for bigger portion sizes, but I felt they were exactly right. One problem — the menu was awful limited for a place this big. And there was no dessert. Butter cake or Bananas Foster would’ve been nice. Hope they’ll be around for awhile.

Ettoufee was good even though it was a touch too salty. The blackened shrimp was disappointing. Flavorless. Fried okra was good but mashed potatoes were nothing special. Atmosphere was good but I walked away not happy because of the food.

Food was good, but way overpriced for what was offered. Anything extra or slightly changed was an additional significant charge on top of what was already high priced, in my opinion, in comparison to other seafood restaurants in the area, and elsewhere…..especially for atmosphere and portion size. Will most likely not be returning to the restaurant.

Food was very tasty. The Crawfish Etoufee was full of crawfish. The bread that came with it was delicious. The combo basket had several huge shrimp and 2 good size pieces of catfish. The portions were not small. Tony and I did not walk away hungry and the price was what we would expect given what we ordered. Definitely worth coming back.

We drive 2 hours one way for this place. One peek into the kitchen says a lot, and one bite of anything they serve will have you sold. On the last visit I got the 16 oz steak. I am about ready to go back this weekend for another.

Always great food! Never had anything that was not outstanding. My favorites are the fish and shrimp but the okra and tomatoes are the best I’ve ever had.
