This review is specifically for Sassy Chophouse & Cocktails. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in Fort Morgan while on a road trip from Florida to Louisiana. We ended up at Sassy our first night because it was the closest restaurant to the yurt we were staying at (which I also highly recommend). After eating there, we couldn’t have been happier we ended up here. The service from our waiter, Dylan, was amazing as was the food. I had the tuna steak and my boyfriend had the pork chop and both were cooked to perfection and tasted so yummy. We also split creamed corn and mushrooms and started with coconut shrimp as an app. We loved this place so much we went there the next night, first for drinks from the lovely bartender Leslie and then again for dinner with Dylan as our waiter once again. The manager, Joey, recognized us and appreciated our repeat business so much that he surprised us with the most beautiful charcuterie board. We barely had room for our ribs and Cajun shrimp skillet, but both were amazing and we took them home with us. If we’re ever back in Fort Morgan, we’re definitely stopping by Sassy Chophouse & Cocktails.

Food was good and the atmosphere was great. Crab cakes were nicely cooked and the mango salsa was a nice touch. Alicia our waitress was great and recommended the frozen coconut margarita and it was very good! She did a great job overall! The restaurant was convenient to our condo and we will be back.

We love Sassy Bass! We visit Fort Morgan every summer and our first stop is always Sassy Bass. We eat here at least 2-3 times during our stay in Fort Morgan. All of the staff is super friendly! Our kids especially love Raven! She has been our server 3 years in a row and she’s just the sweetest!

I tried out Sassy Bass for breakfast and the food was great. Only a short walk from the condo made it very convenient! I opted for the Hawaiian omelette, without pineapple. It was a perfect amount of food, with good flavor. I will be checking them out for lunch or dinner before we leave.

They didn’t have the first two menu choices that I wanted, but we were there at the end of the day. I wound up having the Sea Shell Seafood pasta, which doesn’t look all that appetizing, but was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was awesome! My oldest daughter ordered something they wound up not having and didn’t know they didn’t have it until everyone else had their food, so they offered her a free dessert. My youngest daughter spilled water all over the floor, but she was more than willing to help clean it up and didn’t act at all like she was upset or inconvenienced. The only complaint I have was that it was a little bit crowded. It was right next to our condo, so we didn’t even have to drive to get there.
