Great restaurant with reasonable prices! I would have rated a 5 if I was told I would be robbed of 4% of whatever my tab was if I used my card. I hate restaurants that are not transparent about that. We were frequently checked up on and our food didn’t take long to be made! Everything was pretty good. $6 michelads, $18 paradilla plates and you will get a nice selection of salsas with your chips. Definitely try them out! It was pretty hot when we were here so just a warning to not wear anything too warm to the restaurant!

The food is simply amazing! It was fresh, seasoned well and really good. Definitely recommend to grab your tacos on the go. The small seating area was a bit dirty, but the food makes up for it! Definitely will go back when visiting Houston.

I ordered 3 Chicharron tacos. I’m a huge fan of Chicharron tacos. I ordered them on corn. Although the presentation was good and the food was good. I feel that $4.75 a taco for 3 pieces of meat per taco is straight up robbery. I usually go to smart daddys but they were closed. I wanted to try something different. The tacos tasted amazing but $4.75 is a little too much per taco. It was almost a sample plate. I know times are hard but I work too hard for my money to pay that much for tacos. More than likely I won’t go back unless I win the lottery.

It was a very good place. I had a 5 star review on here but I took it down because of today’s order. I got a liter of menudo and a pound of barbacoa. The menudo was 90% broth, 5% meat and 5% hominy, with a very large bay leaf inside. The barbacoa had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like they cooked the meat without even salt. The Pico that came with the barbacoa was old and slimy. The cilantro was covered in water inside the box. Whoever is the new cook is awful and doesn’t know what he is doing. To top it all off the waitress didn’t even know how to ring the order. For the price, I could go to Pappasitos. This was my favorite place but after this I won’t be back anymore. This is not the only place in town.
