Stopped in for a bite and a brew. They have a great selection of beers and a decent menu. The Bavarian beer balls were awesome, and the boys loved the pretzel with cheese. The staff was polite and on top of everything.

I ordered the bratwurst puffs and braunschweiger sandwich with sauerkraut. I thought it was all good, but I didn’t enjoy it much. It’s probably closer to being real German food than what I am comfortable with. I didn’t really like the braunschweiger, but I think that was a me thing (it reminded me of our damp basement growing up). I probably hyped up the brat puffs a bit too much: they were good, but kind of just a novelty.

I recently visited Krug Pub, a small locally owned German brewery and eatery located in the historic Wallace Triangle/9th Street Hill area in Lafayette, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The cozy atmosphere and small seating make for an intimate and inviting experience, perfect for catching up with friends over some delicious beer and food. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to find and accessible for everyone.

Found this on Google maps while looking for a place for lunch while visiting my daughter. I fell in love with Krug’s Corner Pub. The food was fantastic, the beer selection great and the size options also great. I had bratwurst. We’ve all had bratwurst, but the flavors I experience were new and fantastic. I’m not a huge fan of sauerkraut but the mix of Krug’s brats, sauerkraut, and horseradish mustard will have me coming back.

Love the new space! Food was excellent. My only issue was that I thought the Braunschweiger sandwich had too much mustard on it that overwhelmed the Braunschweiger. It was still very good, though.

Krüg Corner Pub is a delightful little slice of Germany tucked away at the corner of 9th & Kossuth! The food is würst-case-scenario delicious, with bratwurst that’ll make your taste buds do the polka. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere has gemütlichkeit written all over it. It’s the perfect spot to grab a couple of steins with friends! Cheers to this über-cute pub!
