I been going to tippys for over 15 years and have always had a great experience. It was my favorite Mexican place to eat. They have changed the hard shell corn taco shells and round corn tortilla disc. They are using this DISGUSTING paper thin card board taco shells. I couldn’t even choke down one taco it was DISGUSTING. I hope that the other locations haven’t changed. The only reason it didn’t get 1 star is because the California burrito I got was still very good and untouched. Bring back the corn shells and tortillas. I won’t go back to the Centreville location ever again. Stay Away.

Although there are other locations which makes this a chain, I consider Tippy’s Taco in Centreville more of a mom and pop local eatery. It’s been there ever since I moved in the neighborhood about 18 years ago and it has stayed the same and consistent. Prices have gone up like everywhere else but it’s always comforting to me that I can go here when I’m craving Tippy’s.

You want a good affordable meal. You must eat here were you can get a meal for less than $10. Best Mexican food ive had in a while. I love the taco salad. I’m a world where everything is going up tipoy keeps the food affordable. Family owned and operated great texmex.

Ordered 4 crunch beef tacos and 3 soft tacos. I demolished the 4 crunchy tacos.but was still hungry after. The tacos were a good price it taste like a better version of Taco Bell. Still a 5 star service good and quick. Don’t expect anything fancy or authentic they use good ol American cheese slices.

Saturday and Sunday you get to pick out any of the daily specials from throughout the week….This location has the burrito Ole, which is phenomenal has olives on top tomatoes queso ground beef just lovely. Service is great we also had the fiesta dinner which includes three of your choice enchiladas.
