So I really liked coming to this taco time but lately I’ve had nothing but bad experiences. The food just isn’t good anymore. I gave them another chance tonight crossing my fingers that I would have a nice dinner. WRONG! Ordered a crisp taco, taco burger and mexi fries. The fries were sooooo salty and so old. They were completely dried out. Drive back to get new fries. Once I got home I opened my taco burger to only find the stalest burger EVER! I choked down 2 bites. Couldn’t eat anymore. The fries…. still bad! So I go all the way back for a refund and unfortunately this will be my last time visiting this location. Do better taco time! This is NOT the first time I’ve had problems and it’s becoming an issue for your customers. I’m extremely disappointed.

After coming here a couple times I’ve decided to leave a review. The people here are amazing. The food came out warm and it was made the way it should be. Everything felt real and authentic with their food prep and the place reminds me of taco time as a kid. Very nostalgic and a great place to go. I’d highly recommend!

This small, quaint location has become a preferred place to eat in South Salt Lake area for our family. The workers treat it more like an authentic Mexican Restaurant and make the portion sizes quite large and worth your money. We received excellent service even though we did end up having to wipe off our own table before sitting down.

The employees at this little taco time location are friendly and take good care of the space. While we were eating at a table outside, an employee came out solely to pick up a plastic bag on the ground, and a few minutes later, another employee came out with a watering can to water the potted flowers they have on display out there.

This Taco Time on state street is like a little shack Taco Time. Still thought they would serve me fresh food. I guess not… I am very dissatisfied. Wish I could do negative stars. The mexi fries (tator tots) were not hot they were cold, old, and crunchy. The regular tacos were so nasty I didn’t even finish it. I’m not sure if the shells are supposed to be so stale you can barely take a bite. They were nasty and old. Not to mention the Hispanic older man just staring at me and my friend the whole time. Made us feel uncomfortable. I will say they got the food out pretty fast. Probably from grabbing pre made old food from the back. I spent way too much on this very nasty food. Not to mention I’ve been running to the bathroom w an upset stomach from eating bad nasty food from here. I want my $12 back. I would have returned it or make them make it fresh that day. Yet I was in a rush and had to leave right when I got the food. At least a review might help some people to not go to this nasty Taco Time shack.

Every time I ask for a crisp meat burrito never fails I always get a bean, regardless of repeating myself and making it clear I still end up with a bean burrito, drive-thru window service Sucks!

We got various ideas one being a crisp bean burrito it tasted rancid. We called after much discussion We found out it was 2 day old products. Apparently they reuse as much as they can before starting new. Rice in my burrito was old. We threw our whole order out. Managers name was Nick didn’t really seem to care. Go to 810 s. State Juan is the manager they care about quality and have good customer service and offered to compensate us there for the other location mistake.
