My Dad and I were on our way up from Detroit and decided to stop and by luck we found this sushi bar! And I’ve gotta say WOW!! 10/10 recommend! The chef was so kind and gave us amazing recommendations on what to order, specifically the “American Dream” he suggested was phenomenal! The edamame was perfect as well:) this was only my 2nd or 3rd time having sushi and usually am not a huge fish fan, but I’ll be craving this for years I wish I could remember their names, but huge Thank you to our chef and server who was there 8/8 around 1:30, they deserve a raise

I’ve been here three times once with friends and twice with husband. They give great suggestions. Place seems very clean. servers are friendly, food is delicious. My only complaint is that I get too greedy and eat too much because I want to try everything.

Was disappointed. Heard about this place and wanted to try it as my wife likes sushi and I don’t. First off, the service was great! The person that sat us was very friendly and checked in on us. The waitress was also nice and explained the menu. I was disappointed in the hamburger. The patty was small and there weren’t many fries. It could not have been a 1/2 pound before cooking. Looking at some pictures online after the fact, maybe the hamburger should come with two patties? Mine did not, it only came with one and it was small. The sushi presentation looked good, but my wife didn’t think it was any better than what she gets from Kroger. For the experience we had and cost, we most likely won’t be back.

Came here for dinner with 2 girlfriends and it was an awful experience. I want to preface my review by saying the food is delicious, high quality and prepared perfectly. And I do not blame our server or the bartender for our poor experience. This is a management issue. Our server had no knowledge of drinks and was not familiar with the menu at all. It took 20 minutes to get 3 drinks that were brought as they were made one at a time. Food was delivered in the same manor. Appetizers were not brought at the same time, nor were the entrees. We had to ask for EVERYTHING 2 or 3 times. A drink that wasn’t ordered was brought and charged for, appetizers were not correct. We were brought tuna tartar instead of what we ordered which was tuna tatazki. Bills were a disaster. Our server had a visibly runny nose and the bartender wiped her nose with a napkin she picked up off a table she was clearing. In my opinion when you have a restaurant serving such high a quality menu, there should be a manager there touching base with tables and addressing issues with food and service.

this place was awesome! amanda was our server and she was super nice, randy the owner was chatting with everyone and super friendly! Sushi was delicious with a lot of fun options, the chefs were incredible! I’m recommending this to anyone i chat with and will definitely be back soon 🙂

This place does a great job at executing the sushi rolls. I’m a huge sushi fan and have been searching for one for quite some time in MI that is near me. I come from vegas where the rolls are flavorful and always a treat. This place definitely provides variety and sure does tickle your taste buds. If you are hesitant on trying sushi – don’t be…they have a list of cooked rolls. I take all sushi newbie friends here (hence the California roll on the plate) and they all like it. Beware – you will never go back to a California roll after this place…..Great job Hatorando! Also – the sports bar atmosphere is nice. It’s like a special treat for me (to get my sushi fix) and then the hubby gets to watch his sports.

Ordered online with the door dash pickup. That was easy but I felt like there were items that I would normally order not available on the app. Pick up was easy and ready within a few min of me getting there. I should have checked my order for freshness on the nigiri, the tuna was not fresh and deep purple it was turning brown, the salmon was a bit slimy. They put the spicy tuna together in the same box as the California roll. This is not a good practice as the spicey sauce gets on the California roll. No wasabi at all in any of the boxes.
