So disappointing in all aspects. Table was dirty. Server was pleasant but had no knowledge of menu items. I had the Ruben sandwich and meat was sparse and like jerky. Kraut was left soggy. Also ordered side of Polish sausage. It looked 3 weeks old – grey and shriveled. My wife had the country fried chicken and it was rubbery. Iced tea flavorless. Best thing we ate were the croutons (super flavor) I grew up in a super Polish town and this was not Polish in ANY way. I am actually sad having to write this review.

The Texas toast is insane and the slice beef sandwich was flavorful and soooooo yummy. The hot German potato salad was just like Oma used to make. Will go again!

Stay away. It looked cute and quaint from the road, it was hell inside. Just look at the photo I attached, dirty, not clean, food came out cold. The sausage was terrible and the sauce was like ketchup. We ordered okra soup and they brought out vegetable soup with no okra at all, the soup was decent though. The salad croutons were just stored in trash bags and open top containers, bathroom vent had 30 years of grime. Just don’t eat here…

I ordered a club sandwich. It came as a regular sandwich with two breads. The turkey was so thin that I didn’t see it at first, and I definitely didn’t taste it. There were pickles in the sandwich, which I have never had in a club sandwich. The bread was good. The fried Zucchini was over fried, and some were burnt. The waitress was very nice but she never came to the table to check on us.

I normally don’t leave poor reviews. We found this place on our route to Austin. The really only edible things were the bread and fried pickles. Lets say our family of 4 left hungry. Reuben meat was like beef jerky the kraut tasted like its sat in a can for 10 years, the catfish tasted frozen or like it wasn’t properly. The sausage wasn’t even edible. Sorry but I would not recommend this stop to anyone. We noticed a table by ours where the people looked like they didn’t touch their food either. Should have been the first red flag. Oh well.

Wife and I went on a little Motorcycle trip to “Polaks Sawsage Farm” between Karnes City and Kennedy. Visited with a friend in the area. Two shredded beef sandwiches w chips, one club sandwich w coleslaw. Good food, great friendly service. A nice light lunch for the ride back home to the coastal bend.

The brisket had NO smoky flavor, was like it was just oven baked & tasted old, was extremely dry, left really bad taste. Only part 1/2 way good was the side of “home-made” bread that had been toasted . Yea was nasty, fries were over fried… was a bad experience all way around

We were really excited to try this place since moving to the area…the staff was nice but not very attentive. The restaurant seemed dirty. This was the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant i got the sausage and sliced brisket with German potato salad and baked beans with a slice of homemade bread. The 2 small slivers of brisket were basically jerky smothered in sauce. The baked beans were decent but seemed like they had been out all day. The German potato salad may have been good but I just didn’t like the taste of them (but it was my first time eatting them that way). AND THE SAUSAGE I can not describe how disappointed I was was the middle was raw and it was soggy like it was soaking in water all day I couldn’t eat most of my meal. Then we ordered dessert they didn’t have any of the pies that were on the menu, so I ordered a pumpkin pie. The only good part was the crust. Oh and the bread was decent. So I ate bread and baked beans and left very disappointed
