We offer Peruvian rotisserie chicken along with a vast and robust profile. With a bounty of vegetables, rice, beans, and our house blended herbs, our food is often layered with flavor infused with a great mix of cultures.
The history of South America, specifically Peru, has been home to many cultures, influences and cooking techniques ranging from indigenous ingredients to Europeans, Africans, and East Asian immigrants, explorers and more. Rather than remain culturally segregated, these foreign additions have seamlessly fused together with Ancient Peruvian recipes that have led to the current cuisine that is utterly unique.

I ordered the 1/4 chicken with two sides…. I thought it was supposed to be rotisserie chicken… this is clearly FRIED chicken. The fried rice was BLAND. the beans were BLAND (they obviously wanted to get rid of the beans but not the rice.), the rice was bland lol they literally gave me a couple more baby spoonfuls than what you see in the picture (pitiful)…. the sauce was not good either. I spoke to the manager and she offered me 10% off my next meal…. if I don’t like it, why would I come back? She said if I came back she would give me a refund after asking for my order number… I offered to send her a picture… I could have even facetimed, but I went there on my lunch break and could not just up and return… it’s okay. If that’s the best you could do to make the situation better, fine. Whatever. You won’t get my money again.

A good option for dinner take out when you don’t feel like cooking. Classic chicken Latin style “pollo a la brasa” Side dishes have good flavor. Prices reasonable. The Staff is always friendly.

The chicken was VERY VERY VERY dry. Nothing could make it go down smooth. I almost choked on every bite. Sometimes i couldn’t tell the difference between bone and meat. The music was a bit annoying too. Not a very pleasant experience. The yuka was delicious. Service was fast.

Don Pollo is my favorite place to order food. I always order Chaufa con pollo or beef or see food and how long it takes. I got here at Bethesda, I had ticket number 183 but because I didn’t add tips when ordering they serve until ticket number 187. When I got to the cashier to know what is going on she didn’t apologize but asked me if I want my money refund and went to speak with the cook in Spanish not knowing that I understand. I was shocked. She would have say I’m not welcome there.

This location has really fresh ingredients, I’ve had great experience each time. I wish they had black bean pico other than that it’s a in very convenient location.

Extremely good value for the quality of food. The “Fiesta” packages are especially well-priced, and our go-to option for dozens of take-home meals a year. And the food is consistently delicious and high quality.

Just the smell outside is heavenly. Ordered the fiesta for four (for a family of four) and we had enough leftover for dinner the next night too. When my picky son likes chicken, it’s actually good chicken. The plantains were a hit as well.

My wife cut her finger with a loose piece of aluminum in the bathroom door and they didn’t have any policy to compensate us at least with a drink. Food is decent have been customer of the Silver Spring store for a while.

There was clearly something wrong with the employee who took my order. She acknowledged her register was open to take orders so I walked up to her. As she was taking my order she looked dazed, staring past me as if I was not standing in front of her. I shrugged it off the first time but she did this twice as I was placing my order. Clearly something was bothering her because I overheard her complaining to the second employee, maybe a manager because he was counting the money in the register. She definitely needs to work on her customer service skills.
