This is a great place to have a relaxed and casual get together, and is a much needed change of pace from the usual coffee shop meet up. Right on Market St, it has an unassuming frontage but inside are tasty, made-in-house treats.

Brought my mom here for the afternoon High Tea. We have been to a lot of tea rooms together and both agreed everything was excellent and we would come again. It was the perfect amount of food. The scones and jams were delicious with an assortment of toppings to choose from. Sandwiches and desserts were all good. We ate every bite! The owner was a good host — very warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to return.

I was a little worried when Michael sold Cafe Anglais as I was very much a frequenter of that establishment, but the new owner has a done a lovely job of turning into more of a high tea spot. The food and tea were delicious, although it did take quite a long for the food to come out. It doesn’t look like a lot of food, but I was very full by the time I left! They make all their own jam in house and it was so good with the clotted creams and scones. My only complaint is that if you go with a group you all have to decide on what type of finger sandwiches you want instead of getting to choose your own. We did have some allergies in the group and she was able to easily accommodate. Will definitely be back!

The cutest tea room! We ordered the mini-tea 2 course option and were pleasantly delighted. Outdoor seating was just beautiful. I can tell how much work the owner puts into running this place:)

This was my second visit to this place. My only complaint about the service was that it took 45 minutes to get our finger sandwiches and scones even though my table of 3 was the only one occupied the entire time we were there. Other than that, our server was great, friendly and attentive.

I really wanted to enjoy Rolling Scones BUT they need to do MUCH better!!! The tea sandwiches were awful. The the chicken salad was canned chicken and Mayo nothing else! The server was dressed in what I call “comfort clothes with a big cardigan on. ( not professional.) There was just a curtain pulled from tea room to kitchen where we cold hear their kitchen music playing. The space is small and had not much decor except a couple rock and roll posters stapled to the wall. We brought our own flowers ( thank goodness.) Bc there is no nice decor…, It was VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION!!!! It is WAY over priced for food that coast under $10 to make!!!! A woman came in to order something and while she waited she just stood by our table bc there is no room. Very awkward!!!! I support a lot of businesses especially new ones…… but this was an actually a really bad experience for a special occasion! Do better Rolling Scones!!!!! This is not exaggerated, and I hope Rolling Scones can make some improvements. It has the potential to do good. At this point it was embarrassing that we went there! Plz take this review to improve. I’m just an honest customer!

We had the High tea. What you would expect….your choice of finger sandwiches (we had egg salad, chicken salad, and cucumber and cream cheese), scones with your choice of clotted cream and jam or lemon curd, and then cookies and candies. Great! Awesome service by Cheyenne, the owner!

I enjoyed the high tea. I liked that could choose my own cup and saucer, which was sanitized before using. There were so many designs it was hard to pick just one! The scone was terrific. The menu had kid-friendly options.

Tried to go here based on the glowing reviews, but we were told reservations were required and turned away. It would have been nice if the reservation requirement was noted anywhere. We checked all the locations online for tea and were very excited to visit, structuring an afternoon this only to be turned away with no warning.
