I really enjoyed the experience here. The menu was simple, food was amazing, super yummy, and neat experience. The service was good, not great, but still the server was quite helpful in recommending dishes and explaining how the food is done. Me and my friend ordered the pork buns, fried dough, and the Shanghai rolls. Out of them we enjoyed the buns the most. The rolls and dough were meh… we did like that there was some unique bottled drinks available and got a Mellon flavored drink. Overall a most delightful experience and loved the main dishes. It is a bit expensive so it’s probably going to be a special occasion if we come back tho…

This restaraunt is an entire experience. Outstanding, quality, fresh ingredients! We were welcomed and seated immediately. Our wait person was so sweet and several checked on us throughout. Drinks were never empty and we all had to bring home leftovers. After explaining how to order, we chose our options and the food started hitting the table within about five minutes. They bring you a boiling pot of rich delicious broth and you put your ingredients in. Wait a couple minutes and dig in. The teens and I really had a blast and the food was so good! We can’t wait to go back. Super clean, very cute. Pork buns are so worth trying! Melt in your mouth goodness♡

I stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant after a friend’s recommendation, and I must say, I was impressed with the quality of the food. Our order included pork buns, dumplings, meatball soup, crispy chicken, and fried dough sticks. While everything was tasty, the pork buns and crispy chicken were definite standouts and worth trying.

Having just opened right next to Commonplace books, Mi Xian is a great new food experience I didn’t know I needed! The inviting welcome I got when I walked in was one of the best I have ever had. They took care to explain how the meal works. They bring you the hot broth and the ingredients are in separate containers so that they can be put into the broth to cook. They added all the ingredients and told me to wait a minute and then enjoy. The broth has a rich flavor without being heavy. The peanuts give a nice balance and the ham, tofu, quail egg, and more give it many flavors to enjoy. If you aren’t one to venture away from the regular boring cuisine, but are ready to try something new, start here! Enjoy!

Stopped at this delicious restaurant on a cross country trip. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. We got hot pots and were able to pick our spice level. The pork buns are made in house and were also delicious! Great any time of year

10/10. Customer Service from our server (might’ve been part owner?) was 100% on point. Got the Mala and it was the perfect spice (the fumes were spicier however). Honey Pomelo drink (bottled) was new to me but I’ll be sure to be on the lookout for it! Haven’t seen too many places with taiwanese fried chicken in OKC so this was tiers better beyond boba kitchen spots for sure

Yunnan(a province in China) Mixian is a minor cuisine in China, you don’t get to see a lot in other countries. I’m very surprised to see it here! I tried out the crazy mala flavor, the soup base is so fragrant and fresh, make sure you try the soup, It definitely takes hours to make, i love the interior design too, it’s modern and full of young dynamics! Thank you for bringing authentic Chinese food to OKC, it heals my nostalgia! Will definitely be back again! 生意兴隆,财源广进!
