The best homemade wings and chicken quesadilla!! Rhody made our dinner so much better and she was so attentive. Also, they have Happy Hour (M-F) 4-6pm and the appetizers are discounted along with the drinks during that time. Run over to this amazing spot!

We came for a drink at the bar last night and enjoyed a great singer sax duo. The Sangria was delicious and my husband had an IPA he really liked, from a can but good. They just got their full liquor license so if you like something harder they have that too. There is often something fun happening at Wales Pointe and we appreciate having a place to go in the evening in downtown Lake Wales. We have been here before and the staff is always friendly. The fried okra is the best I have ever had! Going back for dinner soon and will update.

We went in for dinner, but after reviewing the menu..we knew it could be pricey. We ordered 2 drinks and the crab dip. The crab dip looked microwaved, but ended up cold in the middle and warm on the edges. Definitely not good to eat with a little bit of chips on the side.

Went for Thursday morning breakfast, around 9:30. There was no other guest in the restaurant. The lady that took our order was polite. The food is far from being “the best in lake wales.” For almost $50 we got biscuits and gravy, that was so over powered with garlic and could barely cut, with a side of burnt corned beef hash with semi cooked bell peppers. The eggs benedict was unlike any I have ever had before (not in a good way), they said the hollandaise sauce was homemade, not sure what recipe they are using but it had a sour taste, and the poached eggs were tiny. The last entree was fried eggs with burnt corned beef hash and home fries. By the time our food came out it was all cold and we were told the grease wasn’t hot enough yet for the home fries. After almost an hour after open time you would think it would be hot enough to fry some potatoes. Alas the best thing was the home fries as they were the only hot thing. This was the first and last time here.

I very much liked the background music and the jazzy atmosphere of the establishment. Mother ordered a :build your own” omelet which she raved about. My girlfriend and I ordered different sandwiches. She loved her fries and commented about the generous size of her sandwich. I am a Northern, born in NY, so Reuban sandwiches connotes a much different experience. Let’s just say, It was edible.

A great local place that is even open on a Sunday. We both had the grouper sandwich, but I chose mine without the bun. There are the standard sides and veggies of the day.( have to balance out the diet) There is a nice outside seating area in front allowing to enjoy the outside. Service was great. We will return again soon so I can try the “creamy style” shrimp and grits! Yumms

Food tasted good but my daughter’s philly cheese steak did not have much meat! I had the Grouper sandwich and corn nuggets, both tasted great. Service was very lacking. Our server dissappeared for awhile after bringing out our food. It was not busy at all.

We went during the soft opening while they were offering breakfast/brunch/lunch, although we learned that they have plans for a dinner menu in the future. The table layout may need to be reworked, but we enjoyed the music and atmosphere.
